4 months in, and I love it.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great console as expected from Playstation. Love the new UI as well, all though I see many people on the internet that don't like the UI but in my opinion its way better and cleaner than the PS4's UI. I only play Call of duty, and for a solid 3 months, I played Black Ops Cold war every day and no issues what so ever. I mainly play multiplayer, it crashed twice, and maybe a total of 10 crashes on Zombies but thats the games problem not the PS5. The Treyarch developer has fixed it in a recent update though. However I will say for the people that don't have a PS5, I wouldnt stress to much as of right now; but this depends on your gaming needs. I recently went back to 2019 Modern Warfare game because its way better than the newest CoD, Black Ops Cold war. My PS4 Pro was fine enough for Modern Warfare but with that being said if you like Cold War, and you have a screen that can output 120hz, then yea forsure try to get a PS5. There was only 1 hiccup my PS5 had, I was watching a stream from the gamehub section in Cold War, and I went to turn off my PS5 but it wouldnt turn off, kept blinking white. So i had to hard shut off by holding down the power button. This occurred in January. And since January theres been couple software updates so I am sure it wouldnt happen anymore but i havent tried viewing a stream from the gamehub section, i suggest just downloading Twitch or Youtube if you want to do that. The PS5 controller is awesome. Its big, i personally think the PS4 controller is more comfortable but the PS5 controller is fine. The adaptive triggers are cool on Black Ops Cold war, but i don't like the left trigger, where it makes it harder to press when you try to aim down sight. I wish you can turn that part off, because the shooting/right trigger is really cool when you are shooting your gun.

PS5 is good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far i haven't purchased any PS5 only games like Demon Souls. Astrobot was fun but not graphically impressive. It plays PS4 games like a dream getting 60FPS regularly. Speeds are awesome and load times are minimal. Played AC Valhalla on both and the difference was night and day. Graphics improved a little but the performance was much improved. Games are coming and i am excited. The design is the only thing i'm not a fan of but i don't play games to look at the console.

PS5 FTW!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing machine. Load times even for ps4 games dramatically decreased. Graphics are beautiful. Super quiet fans. Very big, check dimensions if planning on keeping it inside a media cabinet. But don’t let that stop you from buying this powerhouse of a first gen new console. Do not buy from scammers. Go to stock trackers who help notify you of stock coming in. Buy from reputable businesses (aka Best Buy). It might take time, but you will succeed.

PS5 is worth the money if you can find one!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely worth the upgrade. Most people think the jump from PS4, PS4 Pro to PS5 isn't a big deal but it is. Playing games in 4K, 60fps is a huge difference. Graphics are sharper, load times are next to none, faster UI and the new dual sense controller is leagues better than dualshock 4. Everything on PS5 is just better. If you're complaining that there's not a big difference between PS4 and PS5 then I'm sorry but you simple don't have a PS5.

Powerful
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Must buy if you’re wanting to game and make it simple. Much cheaper than a high end gaming machine. Too bad you can’t upgrade the graphics, ram or processor like a pc. But you can upgrade your SSD Drive Only downside is PS Online is required for some games. To me this is wrong because you can’t play a game that you buy without paying for a subscription.

I finally scored one!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been a long time coming, but I finally got one! I'm so glad that I bought Totaltech months before they gave members exclusive PS5 drops. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to secure one. I guess TT is one way to beat the bots. Loving the fast load times and 4k HDR graphics. The only downside is the 667.2GB of available storage. You'll need to invest in a secondary NVME drive if you want download more PS5 games.

Its Awesome!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this thing and so glad I was able to snag one. Great UI. All the PS4 games I've tried work without issue. Very quiet! Downloads are noticeablely fast. The controller is awesome with the new adaptive triggers. Occasional noise from the fan but goes away after about 10 secs so not a big issue. There have been widespread issues with using external hard drives so I'd stay away from those until Sony fixes it! It's definitely big but not as big as the media makes seem.

It has it's issues, but overall a great console.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd PS5. I feel like at this point if you're buying this you kind of know what you're getting. Next-Gen console that's STARTING to get next-gen games. I got my first PS5 at launch and at that point, there weren't too many real next-gen experiences. If you're getting it now, it's starting to look nice. The controller gives games a different feel when you first use it, but over time the novelty kind of wears off. I have an Xbox Series X with an Elite controller and I don't notice a huge difference between consoles and controllers like I did originally. I docked the console a star because of the current games and because of the Hard Drive space. I'm in the software beta so I can install another M2 SSD but the update hasn't officially dropped for everyone, and, to get a M2 SSD that's compatible...it's gonna cost. Next-Gen games take up space, you add a Call of Duty and a NBA 2k....you're low on space already. Still, with all that said, the PS5 is a great console with a bright future in front of it.

This thing rocks
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS5 is truly the next step in next-generation console gaming. I have one of the most powerful PC’s one can build, and I am constantly impressed by the SSD tech in the PS5 alone. I could write a novel on the controller alone and it’s new haptic triggers, but I will say this. Believe the hype, the thing is absolutely awesome and game changing. I can’t wait to see more games come out for this console that fully utilizes all of it’s capabilities.

Hands down best next gen console!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS5 is an amazing all well rounded next gen gaming console. The SSD loads everything faster and the new Dual Sense controller with haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and built in mic/speaker has to be my favorite. Playing games with the Dual Sense controller makes the experience even more immersive packed full of features. Furthermore PlayStation has a wider selection of exclusive games compared to Xbox (with Halo). Both are amazing powerful consoles.

Already a Necessary Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While a lot of the marketing focused on shorter load times, an innovative controller, and the dark magic known as raytracing, the beauty of next gen so far is the simple stuff: backward compatibility at high, stable framerates. Welcome to the PS4 Pro... Pro. Dropped frames were my biggest problem with console gaming for the last couple of years. The power of the PS5 is a nuclear bandaid on struggling PS4 games like Genshin Impact and, oh right, Cyberpunk 2077.

Sony did well, but….
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The next Gen console race. I’ll say, the graphics are top notch and you can clearly tell a difference between PS4. But they aren’t miles ahead better, more like incremental upgrades. Kinda bummed out that the system comes with 1TB, but because of the system files, it only leaves you with like 825gb’s to use on games. Which, being a next Gen console, it should have come with 2TB especially since these games are astronomically big. The controller has very good haptic/pressure sensitive features. I like the color scheme mix that Sony did, just wondering long term that the white will look very dirty. The console is quite big, so expect to give it space in your room for placing it. I have a feeling Sony will make a smaller very soon or a different color. I’m bummed out that Sony didn’t have many A+ titles a single upon launch, but their coming in 2022. Overall, I like the system, but I feel like I could have waited another year just until the gaming catalog grew more.
