Best console ever!! Plays all PS4 games I've thrown at it. Free graphics upgrades for many PS4 games

The PlayStation 5 has been excellent. The increase load times, system performance and graphical upgrades was all I hoped for. I’ve been super excited to join the next generation of consoles in the PS5. It meets my every expectation and exceeded some as well. I have an entry level 4K HDR monitor and the colors and details look really good. It’s well worth the purchase and any gamer will appreciate the experience.

I don’t play it as much as I thought I would, but the games I have played on have been fun and the graphics beautiful. I feel like the controller needs to be charged often and gets updates frequently as well

This box is the bomb, as is the Xbox X I'd say. I got lucky and got this 11/2020. I play 4k 60hz and is flawless using PS4 games as well. As close to being as good as a PC as I've ever seen. I do have some LH stick drift in the controllers but that is an easy fix. I also added the WD SN850 2TB M.2 drive to it and it is blazingly fast. For some reason HDR had a problem displaying until I swapped the HDMI cable for an Monoprice 8K version but works fine now. I use it with a Samsung QN65Q70R and a Sony STR DN1080 AVR. I have put dbrand black covers on it as well. Love, love, love it.

Such a beautiful console, and the load times are insane. I got it day one and haven’t put it down since, I have yet to run into any problems while playing Demons souls and COD Cold War. I feel bad for anyone that bought the series x and is on a “next gen” console playing nothing but games from 1,2 to 3 gens ago. Ps5 is the way to go if you want a true next generation experience with superior graphics.

Wow. It's been about a month since a managed to score a PS5 with BestBuy's 3:30a MST drop on Sunday morning, 11/22. Was so amped, I could've pooped. Updating from a PS4 Pro, I was nervous it might not be worth the hassle going through the waiting, page refreshing, and disappointment from many store drops since launch. It ABSOLUTELY has been. This system is unreal. No longer are the days I can take a quick pee or get a drink from the kitchen while I have told wait for my game to load, as I'm in and playing in mere seconds. I've been enjoying Ghost and Cyberpunk. No issues with Ghost at all, but yes, I still see some issues with cyberpunk - not able to pick up some items and game crash about every 90 mins of play (still an awesome game and WILL NOT be returning.) But back to the PS5 - it's a mammoth machine, dwarfing my PS4 Pro, but looks incredible as a hardware piece. The new UI is something to behold - got a little scared for a minute when I couldn't easily find all my trophies (they're under "Profile" icon.) But the fact I don't need to leave my game to see what trophy I just got or a message from a buddy is just... incredible. I can't wait for everyone trying to get their hands on one - I see you guys in the YouTube chats with the "L's" for the day and I truly feel for you, but it'll happen!! Keep your head up and keep trying! I'll see you all on PS5 in a month or so and you can see exactly what I'm talking about! Good luck!

Ps5. Can’t go wrong. Better than Xbox obviously. Buy one asap.

The PlayStation 5 is the next-gen console that has been built to be more powerful and quiet than the PS4 (and PS4 Pro) and while it's still at its early years, it performs mostly as it was designed for. The disc drive may sound a bit noisy especially with game discs, but it's slightly quieter than my PS4 Pro's disc drive. It's also far bigger than my PS4 Pro and takes up a lot of space.

Overall I'll say it's a great system gives you that new car smell vs the Xbox series x (I own also). At time I wish I would have went with the disc version just tk have the option to try out games or for short term play. The size is quite massive, little fan noise compared to the series x. But so far so good no complaints. Just wish they would hurry up with the storage expansion update.

The PlayStation 5 is finally here, and WOW does it deliver! It’s everything it advertises. The console itself is beautiful. The load times are fast. The fan is whisper quiet while playing games. The dualsense controller is phenomenally crafted and truly changes the way games play and feel. Set up is easy. Packaging is great. I’m so excited to spend this generation playing on this machine!

What is there to say? Its Playstation. They've been killing it for years. This is the best one yet. This one I bought for my brother. I got one from another store on the first wave. Super quiet and the graphics are out of this world. The dualsense is the perfect controller. Looking forward to all the great games that are coming out in the next few years. Its the only place to play.

The PS5IS Truly the definition of next gen gaming. Wheather it is the new controller with all the vibrations, resistance and sound. Or maybe the most realistic state of the art graphics. This system will pull you in. Make you feel now more than ever you are part of the story. Sony spent alot of time and effort on this one. It is just the beginning I'm sure the best is yet to come.

I’ve waited so long for a chance to get my hands on this console and I finally got one! First off, graphics are amazing and I love how the controller feels. Secondly, the loading times on games is phenomenal and compared to my noisy PS4, is has been a welcomed experience. If you get an opportunity to get one, do it! Worth the investment

4.5/5 Pros: -Most PS4 games load quicker and look better. -Dualsense features; adaptive triggers, rumble, and a microphone up the ante if all previous controllers, and has good battery life. -Next Gen games; I also own the Xbox Series X, 6 months later the PS5 has only 2 or 3 "true nest gen games" while the Xbox has only enhanced Xbox one games. I highly recommend Demons Souls. -Design allows it to run quietly. -Great price. If you can find one at retail, $500 is absolutely a steal for the included tech; the Bill of Materials is somewhere around $800+. Cons: -$70 games. 10 dollars more than PS4 games add up. -Design is big and garish; it definitely stands out in an entertainment center, which is often opposite of what a game console should do. -Software; the OS has less features than the PS4 and no equivalent to Quick Resume which allows the Xbox Seires X to run more than one game at a time. -825GB SSD isn't even enough for 6 months of use, and adding compatible high speed storage isn't user friendly and cost prohibitive. -Loud disc drive; though the fan stays relatively quiet, if you have a disc in, it gets loud, and worse yet, it occasionally (every 1 hr or so) will spin the disc, even while playing non-related digital or steaming material.

unique design, fast download speeds, pickup from your ps4 in the snap of a finger. new controller design feels bigger in the hand than last generation and comes with more features. if you’re like me and get more of a kick out of great graphics then having a 4k display comes in handy with this system. will take up more space than your ps4 but all around amazing system.

Well! What to say. It is a PS5. Super fast, powerful, a few exclusives at launch (one of which - Astro is free, and it is pretty good), and more are coming soon. The DualSense is a bomb btw. I had no issues with the console or controller whatsoever, and still did not ran out of storage space after installing 7-8 games. I got more than expected from PS5. Happy got one!

This console runs smoother than any other console or low end PC out there. Runs games incredibly smooth and quickly. When playing with people on other consoles in the same party I am always the first to load into the match every time. The only competition the PS5 has in the gaming industry is high end PC’s that cost double or triple the price of this console.

Awesome console ! Very fast and very silence ! My old Ps4 sounds very loud like an airplane with some games ( the last of us 2, Spider-Man ) but with this console no ! if you have a tv 4K you will see very nice graphics with demon souls and Spider-Man miles morales I got the disc version but I will get the other model later but I’m still very happy with this ps5

Awesome PlayStation system, very fast and overall great experience, the new controller is an evolution to the way gaming is and makes the game feel that much more REAL! definitely recommend this and hopefully they will stick back up very soon! Sony really knocked it out of the park, just look at how much harder it is to get a PS5 than it is to get the series x
