Excellent grafics and super fast loading times, the dual sense controller is a game chainger when playing games can't wait for Horizon Forbidden West!!

Totally worth it! I'm still shocked I was able to obtain one online! Pros: This baby runs fast!!! Games look terrific and loads in seconds! Menu navigation is very functional. A lot of media and streaming apps if that is important to you. DualSense is one of a kind! Also this thing is huge! Personally I think it looks better laying horizontal. Cons: SSD does not leave you a lot of space in the end. Maybe 600 GB for game apps if your lucky. However, if you want to play PS4 games you can on an external. But this will not support PS5 files on an external hd. It must be installed on the SSD built in.

Wayyy quieter than my old PS4, and loads games up pretty much instantly! Not to mention the graphics. Miles Morales looks amazing, and Fortnite is pretty good as well.

Overall the PS5 is amazing and smooth. Games run at a steady frame rate, load times are basically instantaneous and the controller is something you really have to feel for yourself to understand how immersive it makes the experience. for now avoid add the external hard drive and more internal space, until Sony do the patch. if you connect the hard drive can give you an error "unsupported disc". if you add more space via SSD is not support it yet and you will have similar error not supported. hard to find at the moment, lucky enough to get one at Best Buy and the Curb side was super easy to use.

A fantastic successor to the PS4. If you're coming from a PS4, each of your games will run much, muuuch smoother and will look better if you're coming from the base PS4 if the game had PS4 Pro support. That said, games specifically made for the PS5 feel like a generation apart from the last. Sure the graphics will look better and resolution will always be higher, but it goes further than that. The new controller is what I believe to be the best controller in existence as of this review. It feels better in the hand than any other, and has a feature set that makes it unlike any other.

The PS5 is a powerful and well-designed console that offers a compelling next-gen gaming experience. Its library of exclusive games continues to be a showcase for the PS5’s marvelous DualSense controller, spatial 3D audio tech and super-fast SSD, and it’s the reason why so many gamers will covet Sony’s new PlayStation console. It might be too big for some setups, though, and a couple of issues hold it back from being a five-star product. However, it's a welcome upgrade over the PS4 and an exciting portal to next-gen gameplay.

The PS5 is just as advertised. The machine's design is very sleek and futuristic. It's almost twice as long as the PS4. It runs all of my PS4 games and loads them faster than my PS4 Pro. The Dualsense controller is the most comfortable pad I've held. Setting up and connecting the machine to my 4k TV was a breeze. It was also easy to transfer all of the game data from my PS4 to the PS5 via network cable (or you can do it via WIFI). Just downloaded the God of War update patch today, and the 4k/60FPS graphics blew me away. The PS5 is an essential upgrade to the next generation of gaming!

It is big and bulky. First one didn’t work so bought a second one while the first is getting repaired. System is fast, SSD for daaays. Wish it had a bigger SSD drive for all of my games. Internet connectivity is dodgy, for some reason. Images don’t load immediately, lots of “please wait” or “online connection lost”. Maybe needs some time to stabilize? Maybe it’s my network? I do not know. Ps5 games look stunning on my 4ktv. PS4 games run smoooooth. 4k Ultra-HD Blu-Ray player is kind of clunky but overall looks good and sounds good with some settings adjustments.

I finally got my hands on my PS5 on Nov. 27th, What can I say that hasn't been said already? When you own a PS5 you definitely know you own a NEXT GEN Console!! I'm a Gamer so I use my PS5 every single day! And it has not disappointed. The control itself is something out of this world!! I didn't know what Haptic feedback was until I got my hands on the PS5 controller. Put it this way... I could never go back on any other controller again! They really out did themselves with the PS5. I wanted this so much that I keep checking every single website every day until I finally got my chance with Best Buy!!

This console will make you never want to return to your PS4. The graphics are great, it runs amazingly smooth, rarely ever gets loud and definitely runs a lot cooler.

The PS5 runs great. It is quiet and cool running! Games look and run amazing on it! It was quite difficult to pre-order the PS5, but I was very lucky.

Lives up to the hype and the controller is a game changer. System runs quite and cool. So far all 3rd party games fun and look better on the os5 than the series X.

I love my ps5, I haven’t had any issues so far. It does feel like a next gen console and a upgrade from the PS4. Everything is much faster, graphics are beautiful, controller feels and looks amazing and what I enjoy the most is how quiet it is! No more having to put my tv on max volume just to hear over the jet engine noises my PS4 pro was making. Although all these things are an improvement, I feel like you shouldn’t be in the need to be in a rush for it. Don’t buy from scalpers or feel depressed that you don’t have one yet. I say you should definitely wait until more ps5 exclusive games come out.

amazing console. not a huge difference from the ps4 but im sure as new games come out we will some of the amazing graphics this can put out.

It is a nice step up from the PS4 Pro, and I like the new controller MUCH better, but I suppose opinions may vary there. Improved graphics are always welcome, but everyone wants them even more improved. The games that really take advantage of the newer console are only trickling out, but everything looks amazing. Make sure you have an HDR TV as well as a GOOD HDMI 1.4 cable to get full HDR quality. some of the cheaper cables are not actually HDMI 1.4 and will not let you get the best image possible in your games. I will be happier when the NVME extended storage is supported. It isn't loud. There have been a few consoles over the years with enough fans to double as a space heater, and sounded like a jet idling in your living room. This one has not been that. Whoever designed the case should be fired. Then rehired. Then fired again for good measure. The design is terrible. The basic black box (or white or silver) is perfect for home entertainment, and this thing isn't practical for throwing into a backpack and bring to a friend's house. It isn't practical for fitting in many entertainment centers. Sitting on it's side, it looks like it isn't level because of how the panels curve. You have this little plastic dongle thing you put under it so that it is level, even though it looks like it isn't. So yeah, I think it's ugly. Also, for PS+ members, there are games available to PS5 owners that are not for PS4 (including Until Dawn and The Last of Us).

I absolutely love the new gen console. The graphics are stunning, especially used with a newer 4khd tv it makes games/movies much more clearer and brighter and realistic. I'm so glad I was able to cop on best buy. I ended up copping the first time back in december through walmart but the shipper "lost" my ps5 package... a week later after it was lost and I was yet again sad that I still was unable to successfully get my hands on a ps5, best buy dropped and luckily I got one! Overall console works great, no issues. Hope everyone who is still trying to get one keep trying you'll get it!

I bought this back in 2021 when the ps5 shortage was a thing but Best Buy was my lucky charm I was able to get it and it’s been great ever since

No words can describe how great this next gen console is. The controller is levels better than Xbox, load times are super fast and the design is huge but beautiful!
