The PlayStation 5 is an amazing piece of hardware. The console is super quiet and very stylish, though it is fairly large so make sure you have enough space for it. The PS5 launched with a pretty decent selection of games and with backwards compatibility there are plenty of games to enjoy. The most significant thing that will standout to most people is the redesigned controller that really makes the next gen experience feel next gen. I have yet to run into any problems with my console but some people have had a noisy disc drive, haven’t run into that issue since I have the digital edition. The only flaws I can really find with the console is that the UI is a little bare and the party system is annoying. Other than those minor issues the console is an excellent choice for your gaming needs.

I got so lucky to be able to preorder this and then so anxious until I finally received it. Best Buy and UPS took their sweet time and got it to me a week after it launched. The PS5 was a blast to unbox and set up. It did have a couple crashes in the beginning before a couple updates dropped and fixed whatever it was. I love the UI, although I can't compare it to any other playstation UI since this is my first new system. The pre-installed Astro's Playroom was an amazing showcase for the Dualsense controller. Everyone who has tried it out for the first time have been blown away. Being able to feel much more precise vibrations is a game changer and I can't way to experience more games that utilize the controllers features. The lack of truly next-gen PS5 games isn't too concerning, especially since ps4 games are backwards compatibility. I've got a wealth of of catalog to catch up with. If you're able to get your hands on a PS5, you won't be disappointed. Good luck for those who are still trying to buy one.

Like the Xbox Series X if you can get one buy it. You can't go wrong with niether next gen console. The Playstation 5 is awesome new UI blazing fast speed and very quiet... I've coupled my consoles with an LG CX OLED for the best experience possible. Get it if you can get your hands on one...

The PlayStation 5 was well worth the wait. This system has excellent graphics & run smoother than a baby’s behind metaphorically speaking. The pick up & customer service was excellent as usual at Best Buy and was only a 2 to 3 minute process which I love by the way

Incredibly fun console. Great for use with remote play as well. Have not had any complaints, was able to easily add more storage myself when I started running out (after having the console for a couple of years and downloading several games)

Graphics are amazing, its about 4 inches longer than the 4, the loading speed amazed me(my ps4 is 5 yrs old you can imagine the lag on that thing) only issue ive encountered was when i left the external drive plugged into it after turning it off, had a small crash but nothing major.

Words faster than the ps4. First day with it and I have already spent a solid 12 hours gaming. The system did crash twice and I hate to say it but it’s expected. Overall it’s a vast improvement to my ps4 that was seeming to get slower and slower with games that are just huge now.

My go-to gaming console. Love being able to have physical copies and play at 4k60fps while spending less than I would’ve on a high end PC

Love the console. Controller and the overall design is what makes it truly feel next gen. Was definitely worth the time put in to get it. i’ve tried everywhere, then best buy finally came in clutch. Overall i’m happy with my purchase and the in person pickup went very smooth

Very great console! I originally thought that it wasn’t gonna be much of a difference from the PS4 but it’s actually a lot faster and the graphics are insane. The ps5 is also doesn’t make as much noise especially when playing games like war zone. GREAT PURCHASE!

I’ve always been a fan of PlayStation. The PS5 is amazing paired with the LG CX OLED 55”. I like the look and futuristic design of the system. I’ve played a few games on it so far and I am really enjoying it. Thanks to Bestbuy for coming through and having it available.

Turning on the system for the very first time... It feels like a transcendence. THE controller. oh. my. God. I CAN'T put it into words, you have to feel it to understand the jaw dropping gleeful rush you get from using it. You can FEEL the weight of the weapons you wield. You can feel the TEXTURE of the ground you walk on. You truly feel the world in the palm of your hands. ....The 3D audio also had me turning around in real life wondering what was behind me lol. I will say, There are a lot of software bugs and issues like the system crashing and restarting, although there have already been a couple of updates that have fixed the stability issues for the most part. The UI definitely takes some getting use too, but parties with friends are annoying to set up and I hate how trophy lists scroll from left to right now. These are things that can be fixed in the future and luckily there aren't any hardware issues.

Great console! It is pretty expensive and lacks a disc drive; it still packs a punch. This pretty much future proofs your gaming needs for the next 5+ years. Especially with everything going digital, the disc drive being omitted isn’t much of a problem.

The PS5 feels like an actual step forward into the next generation of gaming from the speed to access games and within games to the new UI to the new controller. The PS5 feels like something new. Which I assume is what your looking for when you buy a new generation of console. one feature of note in the new UI is the cards that give you a custom estimation of how long you would need to play a particular mission or section in a PS5 game or how much progress you’ve made towards a new trophy and simple as this is it really helps so you can better plan your “gaming session”. If you’re lucky enough to finally get your hands on one of these you won’t be disappointed. Pro tip if you have games on your PS4 I would recommend you move them to an external HD so you can easily access them on your PS5.

So happy with the PS5. The new SSD and controller really bring a NextGEN feel. Also, the online order was ready for pick-up 2 days earlier then expected (DEC 24th instead of DEC 26th). Best Buy blessed myself, and tons of others I'm sure for Christmas 2020!

I’ve had my PS4 since 2013, so that is 8 years of consistantly playing. I’m very impressed with Sony’s quality to last. I think after all that time, you cant beat that price. Mine still worked great, but obviously wanted the newer version. What I noticed differently first the tranistioning is smooth. Switching from home to game, is much faster than my PS4 with a lot of less delays/loading time. The color is clearer too. Downloading a game is much faster. Overall it feels great to have something new & run so well. The design is sleek. It is a bit more on the heavier & bulkier side than the PS4 but it doesnt bother me. I’m so glad I purchased! Also Best Buy was a smooth & easy transaction. 100% reccomend getting from BB! Nothing but great experiences with them.

Bought it back in February of 2022 and was just lucky enough to be on at the right time. With that being said and after been using it since early February. I'm very pleased on how great it has been performing. So much fast than my old limited edition Playstation WWII edition. The graphics look better and I'm sure it will be even better once I get a tv that will use the ps5 to it's full potential. I did upgrade to a 2 terabyte WD BLACK with a built-in heat sink. Also got the official PS5 black skin and a stand with a built-in fan, controller charging station. So far very happy with this purchase. So worth the wait and I refused to buy it from a scalper.

I read a comment on here and it stuck with me. It said “wait, it will turn yellow” and it did! Excellent next gen console, fast like really fast And big like really big , the home you think it will fit in won’t work, turn it horizontally

Best system thus far ! The 4k experience made the gaming experience so immersive. I’m a heavy nba 2k player and man this has brought my My player career to another level ; my player face scan genuinely looks just like me lol

Futuristic design with the console. Gorgeous yet classic. New controller works even better with more unexpectedly amazing features. The PS5 works perfect as what it’s like in my imagination.
