It’s an amazing console you can definitely feel the next gen with the ps5, the load speeds are very fast compared to last gen and it has a incredible controller with the power of becoming something so unreal but when it comes to use of the new features it is up to the developers. I do hope the dual sense is used a lot in other games coming to the ps5 but we will have to wait and see, Overall the console is worth the wait and the price!

Plays all my games very fast and the load times is the real bonus for this console generation. Plus download times, SSD's solved these problems almost 10 year ago if not more and finally getting them on console is the best part. The FPS and resolutions are cool, but for somebody who values their time greatly I just cannot justify any older consoles aside for retro purposes.

I have had the PS5 for a while now. The library of ps5 games isn’t great, but it runs several patched ps4 games with smoother frame rates (god of war, etc.). Besides bugs in some games, I have had no issues with my ps5. Graphical improvements and faster load times are worth the price. I’m still waiting for some truly next-gen games. The store had my order ready before it was scheduled, and curbside pickup was very easy.

There's a reason why this is the best system to have one is the exclusive games the second and most of all is the joypad/controller it's truly next gen you can feel every step and all contact in Madden 21 within the controller and hear the QB calling the plays and the running back foot steps from the controller speaker the system is not as strong as the Xbox series X but the PS5 controller is hands down better and more entertaining

The SSD is super smooth and ganes run so much better. Its just a bit hefty

When looking at the difference in PS4/PS4 Pro to PS5 the difference in graphical fidelity is doesn't seem like a massive increase at this time, but I fully expect that to be different a year or two from now as more games are developed solely for this generation and not for both. What absolutely blows my mind with the PS5 is the speed and immediacy of the internal storage. Every time I have started my PS5 I am never prepared for how IMMEDIATELY it starts up, and then it still catches me off guard when I start Spider Man Miles Morales and it IMMEDIATELY loads to the start menu screen, and then it STILL catches me off guard AGAIN when it IMMEDIATELY loads into my saved game as soon as I select it. That impresses me more than any leap in graphics could; I look forward to the day when massive games take moments, not minutes, to load. Coming from the days of HDDs and minutes and minutes of loading screens to this is just a jaw-dropping realization. While I wish there was wider compatibility with the additional NVMe slot to add a "slower" NVMe now for PS4 games and PS5 games that might not "demand" faster Gen4 speeds, it's an understandable restriction when envisioning the console as a 7 year item and requiring a baseline performance that is higher at the moment but will become more common as time moves on. This machine is impressive.

Amazing for the price but definitely not there yet for native 4k 120hz on the latest games.
