I have only used it for a week, but I can already say that the PS5 controller is the coolest controller I have ever used. I have been gaming for over 30 years, and just playing Astro's Playroom was fantastic, and a game both myself and my 6 year old can play. I am looking forward for lots more fun for both my kiddos and my self (Spider-Man, here I come).

The ps5 is fantastic!!! Major upgrade from the base ps4. Steady locked at 4k 60 fps on warzone and a Steady 4k 120 fps on cold war. You need hdmi 2.1, in order to experience 4k at 120fps. Overall, fantastic system! The system is super quiet. Even after a few hours of non-stop gameplay, the ps5 stays super quiet. The controller is also a major improvement for the last generation.

The PS5 is amazingly fast and reliable. The difference in speed from PS4 to PS5 is significant. Bye-bye long loading times. The new control is increasingly responsive to boot. I've owned mine for a couple of months and have experienced zero bugs. I highly recommend buying one. It would be nice however to have some more games available.

Words cannot describe how amazing this console is. It as if it were created by the gods them selves! Lucking out and getting the PS5 is one of the the greatest accomplishments in my young life. From the moment I turned it on it was pure joy. I run home from work with the enthusiasm of a puppy knowing that my baby is waiting at home for me to play with her.

I managed to score mine online the last week in December '21. You have to be refreshing your browser at just the right time and once it's added to your cart, keep trying to check out for at least 30 minutes even if it stalls. The hardware is great. The unit itself is high quality and has some weight to it. Looks futuristic and advanced. Excellent audio and video options to tune the picture. Also, the wired network download speed is excellent. On my PS4 Pro I was getting 150 Mb/s download, but on the PS5 I'm getting around 350 Mb/s. The UI however is missing a few things that the PS4 UI had that I miss. There is no more downloading movies through Sony. You have to have an app like Netflix or Amazon. You can still download games obviously. You cannot customize the wall paper in the background either. Also, there is no Playstation Live option that groups all the live streams in one app. You have to log in to Twitch or YouTube to view live streams through those apps. I also found that when playing movies from a USB stick, if you try to fast forward, sometimes the movie gets stuck and won't play. This console is still in its infancy and I'm sure it will all get worked out with updates.

The ps5 Is very fast! Very easy to set up and is able to play ps4 games as well.

Sony did an excellent job this time around with making this console backwards compatible and providing AAA quality games right out of the box. The OS is snappy and continues to be improved. Lastly, the controller is very engaging just as advertised. It’s very similar to how I felt when I first used a DualShock in the PS1 days. Excellent job Sony.
