Plays PS5 games but not all PS4 games well

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The console is great and plays PS5 games flawlessly, I would've given this 5 starts if it played PS4 games though. When I try to play games like GTA V, Minecraft, The Forest, etc. there's a high chance the game will crash or the system crashes and turns itself off. The amount of crashes depends on the game as GTAV Online crashes every 30-50 minutes, The Forest rarely does and I can go a few hours with no issues and Minecraft being seemingly random. PS5 games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, and Dead by Daylight (Free PS5 Enhanced Upgrade) don't crash at all and run great overall. From what I've read online and have been told by many people, its a gamble to purchase this system since some PS5 consoles don't have these same issues as I have. Someone I spoke to online even told me that in their experience they sent their console to Sony for a replacement and got a new one within 3 days. As of Friday, December 13th 2020, these listed issues aren't fixed for me via any of the few System Software Updates.

Tbh all things considered I’m glad to have one. The problem is the controller worked properly for about two weeks and currently it’s acting like I’m pushing the left analog stick when I’m not. Have yet to find a fix that works. It’s really annoying.
