Sony always shines with the technical performance of their newly released hardware. PS5s are still plenty easier to obtain than GPUs these days (and surely more cost-effective than building a PC). It's good to see that the disc version is backward compatible with PS4 discs. My biggest gripe is the lack of console exclusives and that physically, this console is just oddly shaped... but to each their own. I can't say I ever regretted a sony console; however, if you're without a PS5, I'd still say that it's not something worth paying scalper prices for due to most games being available on PS4 anyway.

It’s a PS5. If you’re reading this you know you want one. Yeah, the available exclusives are a little light. But that will change soon. And the current exclusives/games are great. Plus PS4 up scaling makes those games look new. And I will say that ordering and picking up with Best Buy was super easy.

What a game! I will never read reviews or people’s opinions again. I loved every minute. I guess it’s not everyone’s style of game but for me it’s phenomenal. A metaphor for society. The power of connecting people and the grind we have to go through sometimes to do so.

This was my 3rd PS5. Yes it was still hard to buy but patience is truly a virtue. Powerful beast of a machine that makes the PS4 look extinct. The best part is the backwards compatibility with PS4 games. Now I can finish that huge backlog of mine without buying any PS5 games yet.

Been waiting for month, almost a year to purchase this. Glad I got it from Best Buy—pick up was sooner than expected and was quick and easy. I’ve always been able to get my hard to find consoles from Best Buy! Love the product, it’s a PS5–what more is there to say?

Better then Xbox sadly. The Xbox shuts off out of no we’re sadly. I’ll buy it tho for halo. The only thing is no small shelves or space for the PS5 it overheats but I moved it an no problems since.

I love my PS5. I was fortunate enough to get this on launch day. Playing Ghost of Tsushima with 60 FPS is awesome! Cold War playing on a smooth 60fps is fantastic. It says 120hz is activated but I haven’t verified if that is the case. Load times have been greatly reduced or eliminated all together.

So far so good controller is cool unit is big happy to this point - price is high in my opinion- is kinda noisy when playing disc much more than ps4

The playstation 5 was worth the wait especially when knowing it has backwards compatibility. Getting to replay some of my ps4 games with improved frame rates etc will easily hold me until more ps5 games come out. It's always expected to not have too many launch games at release but next year will be huge

What else is there to say? If you're looking for a next-gen gaming console Sony is still going to bring you more exclusive titles than it's Microsoft competitor. If you're looking for a gaming PC replacement, the Xbox is probably a better overall value with the Game Pass.

I placed this order on nov 22nd with ease no issues with the site crashing or issues with bots getting all the product like other sites was experiencing, and wasn’t scheduled to pick the package up for another 5 days. I got a email to pick 3 days early which was amazing and quick . Curbside was a breeze

I got this for my brother as a gift and he loves it , I find the lack of a drive to be a turn off for me but it’s great for the digital people. Picture quality is top notch

Next-gen is here! The jump in graphic is superb! But it doesn’t stop there, the ps5’s new ssd loads games super fast! Overall quality of the ps5 is top notch! Controller is made very well and the force feedback is seriously some next-gen stuff! Sony has outdid themselfs for sure! Highly recommend this!

I'm actually very happy that 4 months of waiting was not in vain for a PS5 to become available to purchase. I've been playing my PlayStation 5 and I'm happy I bought it at Best Buy. curbside pickup was very professional. I might do more orders that way from now on. The console works perfectly

I love it. I’m not going to lie at first it started out bumpy. Ps5 right off the shelf technical glitches but after the initial updates I couldn’t be happier. I enjoy the look the feel of the new controllers and the power of the system itself. I’m planning on purchasing another one in the near future.

I was one of the lucky ones to get this PS5. (Follow @mattswider on Twitter--he always gives the heads up for restocks!) The system has lived up to the hype and I highly recommend getting a nice HDMI cord to see if you can push the picture and sound to the next level!

Needs more storage!!! That’s my only complaint. Otherwise it’s a solid console. The PlayStation network service keeps adding perks as well.
