The system is beautifully made. Fast load times and great graphics. However the console is large and requires ample ventilation. Wouldn’t recommend placing it inside of an enclosed entertainment center.

The PS5 is amazing. We have played COD, Spider-Man, and Foetnite. The graphics are incredible. The games load instantly. And the new controller is dope. Thanks Best Buy for the winter enjoyment!

Even though it was a hassle to get, this console is worth it! Miles faster than the PS4, sleek as all get out, and the controller...ooooh the controller feel phenomenal! Definitely worth it!

So thankful I was able to snag one during Best Buy’s previous drop. To me the ps5 is definitely a significant step up from the ps5. It’s much faster and allows for you to play pretty much all of your old ps4 games if you happen to have them still. I’m def a fan of this new console and can’t wait to try out the exclusive games coming out through this gen. My only complaint is that the ps5 is a pretty big console....not sure what Sony was thinking in regards to the design of the console. Prepare to find a home within your personal entertainment center (or upgrade it for something bigger) because this console takes up quite a bit of space. Other than that solid release from Sony

Sony hit it out of the park with the PlayStation 5. Insanely fast load times, slick 4K UI (XBox Series X UI is still at 1080P which makes no sense since like the PS5 it supports 4K games, what was Microsoft thinking? Hopefully a patch will come out at some point to up the Series X UI resolution to a proper 4K) and truly next-gen DualSense controller makes for a very impressive console. Perfect backwards compatibility with the PS4, so much so that I was able to sell my old PS4 pro. My Thrustmaster RS-300 wheel and pedals work perfectly with the PS5 when playing F1 2020. Yes, it is still very difficult to find one but is well worth the effort to seek one out, you won't be disappointed!

Was lucky enough to get this on launch day and have been playing it non-stop ever since. Phenomenal graphic and the new controller rocks. Load times for PS5 are lightning fast compared to PS4 games.

Compared to the PS4 the PS5 is much larger and noticeable when out of the box a lot heavier. Should you go disk or digital when buying? It’s all on preference however this is food for thought. I went digital because Sony released the digital which means that the next version PS6 (years from now) will almost 100 percent be a digital only console. That means if you have disk it will no longer be supported. However if you want to buy games and trade them in for cash back when you no longer play your old games then go disk. It’s as simple as that, I got the digital version to also save room on storing games. Should you wait to buy a PS5? The answer is simple yes if you want the ps5 games. Right now all the games have a boost but don’t yet show the true potential of the PS5. If you can wait till April then we should see some games already for PS5 and the use of its capabilities. Besides you may just want the newer PS5 that comes with a bigger storage capacity at that time. How does the PS5 run? Fast simple answer. When turning on the ps5 and after setting it up, you will be blown away how much everything actually has changed. It takes a little getting used to if your a gamer but it’s refreshing and a better setup then it’s old version. The PS5 lets you get to the menu or games easier than the Xbox version and it does this while keeping in mind what most people use. Conclusion. The PS5 is a newer refreshing looking machine. But if you can wait until April to see it’s full capability then do so, you actually maybe glad you did since a newer more powerful ps5 should be announced with higher storage capacity and most games until then won’t use the ps5 capabilities. I went digital because in the future Sony will no longer support disk games so start making your digital library now.

It's expensive, took a long time to find, and did not disappoint. The graphics and load times are great, but the best feature of the new console is the standard controller. It's a game changer.

I initially bought this item as a gift, but when the gift recipient had already procured another PS5, I ended up keeping the item for myself and trying it out. I would have to say, it is beyond what I imagined. I haven't touched consoles for years (still working with a Playstation 2 and a Gamecube) and have consistently been a PC gamer since then. That being said, this console has a lot more than I anticipated for the price. Excellent graphics - is able to handle newly released games with ease, optimal FPS settings for gaming, easy to setup and use, doesn't overheat, etc. Basically fulfills what a gaming PC can do in terms of gaming, with a lower price v. conventional gaming PCs.

I was very lucky to somehow get my hands on a PS5 during the pre-order nightmare. I didn't have a PS4 before, so I can't speak to differences between the two. So far, it has been really great! It runs smoothly and the games I've played so far look amazing. The menu looks clean and is easy to navigate. It is super quiet and I haven't had any issues with it. The controller is also great. The vibrations are different from any other controller I've used and adds to gameplay. It stays charged for quite a while as well. I can go a day or two without charging, depending on how much I use it. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and I hope more people can get their hands on one soon.

Every time i look at the console it looks futuristic. And when i turn it on it definitely looks and feels like next gen. The controller is probably the thing that surprised me the most. When you play Astros play room, which is pre-installed, it showcases just how good the controller feels with the haptic feedback, pressure resistant triggers and speaker. The interface looks great, but if you're coming from the ps4 it feels a little backwards when trying to access the menus by pressing the Playstation button or holding it down. But after a while you get the hang of it. To me Playstation has the best console exclusives, and the Ps5 is the best Playstation console I've ever played.

I really have no complaints about the system is Fast and the games look great, and the controller feels great... If you are able to get your hands on one you will enjoy it

Perfect in every way. Gorgeous design, great UI, and incredible games. The controller is an incredible piece of tech too - the haptic feedback is fun, and it first my bigger hands well.

Best gaming console to date. Super fast loading with games. Nice and quiet, nowhere near as loud as last gen. Love the haptic feed back on the new dual sense controllers. Truly next gen console!

This is true next generation gaming, the control alone is worthy of praise and the speeds are amazing, playing ratchet and clank rift apart definitely shows the power of the ps5.

My only complaints are that when you start up the PS5 it sounds like a jet for about 10 seconds and then idles into a quiet buzz. Also my left trigger has become loose somehow after a month and there is very little resistance unlike the my right trigger. Other than that graphics are awesome, load times are awesome, controller feels nice (except my left trigger) & over all nioce console. I just hope I can get my controller replaced with my Best Buy insurance.

Amazing new console. Visually this is on par with the Xbox Series X but where this console shines is with the new controller. I didnt think it was going to be a big deal but i found myself looking for games that took full advantage of this feature. Feeling the gun triggers breaking point, feeling the pull back of an arrow, the abs on the car activating . Hearing and feeling the left and right steps of your character. All of these elements provide a new level of emersion into the world you are exploring with in your games. Amazing addition to any Gamers set up. This even rivals some modern Gaming PC set ups in terms of performance, Barring the higher end RTX Cards.
