So far its been great, but i got stick drift 3 months in so far, so that really sucks. Depending on if my warranty covers the conteoller will determine if this was excellent. The Best Buy i bought this from is a really nice place they help me out every time i go in for an online purchase.

I been with Xbox for years and in the past recent years I been feed up with the game play of it. I played a little bit of the PS5 at a friends house and it changed my game play experience forever. I have never been more satisfied or enjoyed gameplay from a console before.

It's a good console if you prepare for it. The only con is not optical out port so my Astros feel useless. Then I bought the adapter but the console looses VRR when connected with the adapter. So I had got the pulse 3D audio instead. If you want VRR get you a display that has HDMI 2.1 and supports VRR.

I purchased the PS5 in May of 2023. I have nothing but good things to say about this system. Loading speeds and overall performance is great!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Granted, this doesn't get much play time during the summer. But over the winter this was the household saving grace. Games easily downloaded, and a huge variety of what you can play.

Plays games great. This thing is perfect for a day of playing games.

I love my new PS 5. The only thing I do not like is that it gets really hot in a short amount of time. That is easily fixed with and external fan though. I am very happy with this item overall.

I have owned and still have every PlayStation that has been released and the PS5 by far was exactly the upgrade I was expecting. Faster load times and the ergonomic design of the controller was a plus! Now for them to release more games for the system.

Love the console but I need to buy extra storage because it does not come with a lot of space. And the extra storage is expensive, like $100 for the PS5 recommended storage.

This thing is a beast! I waited for a long time before purchasing because I was dreading losing all my save data from PS4 games. It ended up being super easy to transfer over my game data! Even kept my character from Hogwarts Legacy so I could just pick right up and keep playing!

We hpurchased this in 2023 and we have had so many issues just after its one year warranty ended. It would stop connecting to WiFi on and off, only thing to fix it was to shut it off and let it sit for either hours or a few days before it would start connecting to the internet again. (Would just say failed to connect, we tried all the troubleshooting recommendations nothing ever worked but letting it sit shut off for a while) and now it just completley stopped working and is power surging from the back and we are afraid to turn it on. It’s always been in a well circulated place and my boyfriend has always made sure dust never collected on the inside. This is our 3rd PS5 and we have had nothing but issues with it and of course after the 1 year warranty is ka-put. PlayStation doesn’t want to do anything to help but charge us an arm and a leg to look at it. Might as well buy a new one. The controllers all suck too. I’ve been though about 5 controllers and everyone got stick drift after a month of use or the headset jack stopped working

Beautiful, but the only thing I do not like is that the games are not shareable on the same machine with family accounts if they are digital copies. These games are so expensive as it is so why can’t we share the game with our other accounts on my machine? Please change this, they were shared on my PS4!

I got this as a present for my Older Brother since he’s always wanted to add it to his collection. He collects gaming consoles and uses every single one he has. Not only did I score points from him as his sister but his friends and our family are saying i’m a good one too!!!

I mainly play PC but picked this up for 2k and the new god of War. The OS isn't anything special. The gameplay looks great and loading times are fast. The controller is excellent no complaints there. Just didn't impress me as much as I thought. Probably going to sell it after I beat Ragnarök. Also if you install 3 AAA games thats all of your storage so be ready to buy a SSD

Is an excellent console and does fine with PlayStation 4 games. Wish there was more PS5 games to feel it's true potential.

The difference between PS4 and PS5 is measurable. The load times on the 5 are much quicker then the 4 even when I upgraded my 4 with a 2TB SSD. Download times are still the same but that always depends on your area and provider. Still an awesome piece of equipment and now an added console to the inventory.

From the perfect experience purchasing the console at the store with a great employee to the best experience playing with the best console at the market, exclusive gaming is only one of the coolest experiences with PlayStation 5. Would recommend over and over again.

It has worked without issue since buying it, I was able to play all the exclusives without issue and best buy made it pretty easy to get my hands on it even when it was almost impossible.
