This charger works much better and has much more ease with literally just placing it down and charging.

Sit the PS5 controller on the holder and it will charge. Simple to use. It doesn't make a noticeable click or necessarily hold "Sturdy" in place. You will know if it's in place once your PS5 controller's lights change to orange for charging
