Would not consider a necessity by any means but once you have it you are glad you bought it. Also frees up a USB A port that are few already.

Nice charger

The ps4 one would go into the cradle easier but would also fall out easier.

Not really the best design

The charging station works just fine, but the overall design seems like it could have been build much better.

Great Charging Dock

frustrating connection

But it seems finicky as far as the connection ports. Maybe Im just clumsy but it takes a large amount of finesse to make sure they attach
