I tried multiple third-party solutions. I found one that was okay, but none are as convenient or as easy to use (in terms of controller insertion) as the official Sony DualSense Charging Station. That's a shame, because as of this writing (April 2021), it's still extremely difficult to find—perhaps even harder to find than the PS5 itself.

Great at charging

Only issue I do not like about it is the controller just rest on the charger to charge it it doesn't lock in place. So a slight bump could move it from charging to not charging.

Finally got the official Sony charger.

I’m glad I waited and was patient. The quality of the Sony charger is top notch. I also like that it kinda looks like a mini PS5. It comes with its own power supply so you can free up the USB ports on your PS5. The controllers simply rest on the charger and you’re good to go.

Lol Its very convenient and easy to use , even my 5 year old can out it down without issues. When its finished charging it stoos supplying the controllers with energy.

This has made it so much easier. All I have to do is set them down at the end of a session and they'll be good to go the next time

PS5 DualSense Charging Station.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This just makes sense to buy, not only does it save a USB port on your PlayStation 5 it allows you to charge your controller through an outside source, hopefully extending the life of the console. It's different from the PS4 version but even better because it charges your DualSense on contact, you simply sit it on the contact point, no need to push it down. Definitely a no brainer in my opinion.
