Stick Drift need to be addressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The DualSense Wireless Controller in Midnight Black is fantastic in terms of comfort, haptics, and overall design. It feels premium, works seamlessly across PS5, PC, Mac, and mobile, and the adaptive triggers are great. However, the big downside is stick drift. It’s a recurring issue, and in my experience the average time before drift starts is around 8 months (based on 2 other identical controllers), which is unacceptable for a controller that costs $60–$70. For this price point, Sony really needs to address the durability of the analog sticks instead of treating drift like an inevitable problem. Battery life could also be better. The controller drains faster than expected, especially with haptics and adaptive triggers enabled, and it feels like it hasn’t improved much since launch. Overall, it’s a great controller held back by long‑term reliability. We deserve better build quality for the price.

Great feel and gameplay! The haptic feedback is much more subtle and really helps draw you into the game. So many more options for developers to design interfaces into future gaming. There’s an interesting game pre installed on PS5 that shows you everything the controllers can do and I recommend checking it out.
