good for whats out there in games. wish sony would have actually kept their promise of its day 1 capabilities. the voice commands are good but the facial recognition is better once you use and have it recognize your face in different lights. video chat isnt available or it could just be that i havent figured it out. plus no one else has a camera that is on my friends list. I would recommend this to people as long as other or people you play with the most have one too.

This camera has a much better picture quality than the PS Eye for PS3. The supplied stand doubles as a foldable clip for the top or bottom of a flat-panel TV. The rubber edges at the bottom prevent scratches on the TV. As of now May 2014, the PS Camera can only be used with Just Dance 2014, The Playroom built in with the PS4 system software, and with online streaming of games. There are other functions such as log-in with face recognition and voice navigation, but I never use those. I would give 5 stars, but I'm taking 1 off due to the lack of things to do with it.

The tech demo for this device is awesome and really impresses people, especially those not too familiar with technology. But beyond that, I've yet to see a use in a game that really impresses me. The auto-sign-in features that use facial recognition are pretty cool, and I think there are going to be tons of awesome applications for this, but unless you know of an awesome game that uses it, I would hold off. That being said, I bought this alongside an excellent bundle that gave me a big discount on the accessories and Geek Squad coverage as well. Overall a thumbs up!

This suffers from the same issue as the Kinect...the chord is too short. At least there is an extension chord for this. Still...wish it was longer. That's my only gripe. It seems to work well.

Picked up the camera on sale, and have not regretted the purchase. It works as advertised, and makes it easy for any poor chaps joining my streams to see my ugly mug, and that's priceless.

it picks up sound from tv when on netflix as if i said something when i didnt, which then lowers volume on my movie, i wish i didnt have to go into settings to turn off mic every time im watching a show. other than that it works great

It took me maybe 3 minutes to set this up. It also conveniently comes with a bracket to fit on top of your tv. I had almost purchased a bracket before I opened the box and realized it was already there. Thankfully the Move accessories from the PS3 will work with the PS4 so no buying all new controllers.

It works well, I recommend it for a friend. Haven't got to use it much but when we tried it out for the first time.. It wouldn't read my nieces height they were too short. I dislike that, reason being the kids can't get involve.

Haven't got a chance to use alot. Tried out some of the features which we're cool but main reason it was purchased was because it was on sale. The guy at best buy told me the cameras barley go on sale so i just picked it up.for my son.
