For what it does, the camera works fine. I don't like that the mic is always on during certain games, but that has to do with the settings within the game more than anything.

I mainly bought this for the Twitch streaming capabilities, and thusfar have no complaints. I would like to see more games use this in an interesting and fun way, though.

The camera works perfectly . The set up was easy. It would be nice if there were more games out to take avantage of the camera features.

I thought that I would be able to connect with Skype and apps of that nature as you can with xbox ones kinect. That was not the case. Not too many uses for this device.

well it sucks that now on most games i enter the chat automatically so they can hear everything that is said in the house, i always realize it when some random dude comments on what i was telling my kids or my wife.

I bought this to entertain the grandkids. The game that is included with the ps4 is neat but doesn't hold their attention very long. The compatible game selection is limited. Hopefully Sony will do more with this.

just not really enough support for it. You basically have the play room, just dance, and some voice commands. Only really recommend if you are into broadcasting on PS4.

I love my camera!! The facial recognition and mic work great!! Cant wait to broadcast me and my gameplay..Together! Greatness awaits.

not much you can do with the camera as of yet. hopefully with morpheus coming out next year the camera will be utilized more. how do i stream via ustream. i don't know. i haven't tried. i should though. i should.

The camera works great, it's really fun to play the playroom game that comes with the system, but sometimes you can end up yelling at it like an idiot trying to make it do the voice commands. It's still pretty fun though.

Adds some cool features to the ps4 that kids can play with. Wish more games could be used with camera but overall a good buy. Good headset if you like to chat but don't like wearing earphones has mic built in.

My son enjoys the robots in the playroom and the various games you can play there but somewhat limited across all games. NBA 15 use of camera is not without frustration

This camera has an amazing depth of field and captures images with high definition. It truly enhances the player immersion. The major drawback is the stand. Not very user friendly or formed to fit many locations.

Basically just used it for face scanning for 2K16 my player. Other than that I have used the mic a few time to communicate with other gamers on call of duty.

Its good, with a good picture, but its really annoying that it doesn't show up as a connected device, so you can't mute the microphone on the camera. Even when you're not using the camera, you can still be heard (multiplayer, etc). Sony needs to release some updates and patches to make this better, and then it will be 5 star worthy.

Webcast streaming and video chat capabilities?! Why I didn't buy this before I'll never know. If you're thinking of trying out streaming, get it! If you're not, get it anyways because that little light bar on the front of your controller works with it too (on some games)

Purchased this thinking it would have some level of usefulness. The installation was easy but the functionality is very limited. It can be used as the microphone and the camera can be used to stream yourself on Twitch or U-Stream. The PS4 is a great system but the camera really has no usefulness. I purchased it when it was on sale for $29.99 and am thinking that $30 was probably better spent in my pocket. Holding out that it will have some usefulness at some point. Now that Sony is developing their VR headset I'm sure this will be available for around $20 soon.

I bought this because i wanted to try the play room but it also has some useful features like logging in with facial recognition and navigating through the menu without a controller, also if you dont want to look for your headset while playing you can still chat with the camera mic, but the quality is not that well, it'll get sound coming out of your tv, also the picture quality is not that good, but i still have fun playing with it, I haven't unplugged it since i bought it.

Camera works as it should, however there is limited availability for applications/games that take advantage of the technology... Keeping fingers crossed more games down the road will utilize it

If you are looking to play games with this, there are not many games. IF you'd like to stream your play with you playing it then it's a good decision.
