This camera is a good camera, but the stand that it is on is bit flimsy and cheap. I think Sony could have done a bit better on that end of it. Yet, the camera works as advertised.

The camera works good, I never used Kinect or the ps eye, so I cant give an honest comparison and since PS hasn't seemed to make it a primary focus, there is still limited use for it at this time.

This camera is not so good, and definitely not as advanced or integrated as the Microsoft Kinect sensor. It has a hard time finding me in the room (I am standing about 6' away directly in the center of the room). I can see myself on the screen but the camera cannot detect me. This makes the facial recognition login almost unusable as it does not work most of the time. I tried it with one game but same problem. It does not track you as well as the connect sensor either. Sony has a lot of work to do with this camera before it is ready for Prime Time.

As stated, there's not much use for the camera yet, not like the connect where it's pretty functional with a couple of games. With all things new give it some time and it will catch on, maybe not.

Add another dimension to your PlayStation 4 experience with the power of this PlayStation Camera. Not much use yet, but VR is the reason I bought it. Hopefully it will pan out well.

This is a great add on to the playstation that should have been added to the system package. It has some similarities to the kinect from xbox one. Great for video sharing and live streaming.

Great improvement to the camera of the past! Does not compare to the Kinect but is definitely better then the previous ps3 eye. This product is a great addition to your ps4.

It would be great if it had games for it. But spending $70+ for it just to collect dust because there isn't any games for it is a waste to me.

No extensive review needed for this. It's a night and day improvement from the PS3 camera. It also auto tracks you as well. Low light performance isn't that great but it's acceptable. The cable is long enough to reach my tv mounted on the wall.

We use this with our ps4 and have had no complaints. I especially like the size of this as it doesn't take up much space on the entertainment center. Calibration could be a little better but not sure if that is a ps4 issue.

This camera is a good camera and the playroom is fun, but not much else to do with the camera unless your streaming your play sessions

The kids love to see themselves on tv and interacting with the little robots. Face recognition is slower than signing in the regular way. Even though I only used it for the playstation room, I can see how fun future games will be with it.

I feel as though Sony should come out with a new higher resolution camera. However this does serve the purpose and work fine for the VR which I bought it for.

Picked this up on sale to be ready for some PSVR action later this year. Played with it a little and it is responsive and somewhat useful. It logs me into the ps4 automatically by recognizing me and a few other things.

this camera works great for me. I use it to talk to my friends. I also use it for alien isolation and nba2k. Both have neat things you can do with it such as head tracking and face scanning. overall great experience.

It's a camera....it does what it does. You just gotta have it for the vr system to work. Seems to track everything pretty well, so I'm satisfied with it.

This is a great add-on device to use with the PS4. Great way to pass time with the Bots and the verbal command feature is really neat! Can't wait until they come out with more games where the camera is integrated into gameplay.

Go ahead and give the new PS Camera a try if you're a hardcore PlayStation fan who want to see more developers utilize it down the road, or if you simply need to have those face and voice detection features going from day one.

Its cool to have and my 5 year old loves it but I'm still waiting for Sony to blow my mind away with something really creative.

Bottom line: if you plan on getting anything Playstation VR then you need this camera. It has been stated on the Sony website that you'll need this as a component for VR, so why not pick it up early and be ready.
