If you plan to buy the camera for games you'll be disappointed. If you like to stream through the Playstation app on the PS4 you can use this as a face cam and it also accepts voice commands for navigation through the OS.

Good quality camera. Cool gadget that opens up so many possibilities for the PS4. Will be better when more games compatible. NBA2K15 is really cool with the create a player feature using this camera.

The camera works as advertised. Can't really say how well it works on games that need it. Still works great for easy log onto the Ps4 and voice commands.

One of the best addons I have every bought for a gaming system. It so much fun for not only me but my growing family. I was never one for casual gaming but with this I have become a little less hardcore but a lot more wowed by games for he family and what my system can mean to a whole new generation of gamers. Pound for pound one if the best things I've bought recently and you can ask my wife about that!!!

This camera is pretty good at recognizing faces. It has a little bit more difficulty in identifying my spouse, but in general it is pretty accurate.

The Playstation camera is steps in the right direction. But, on a console that prides itself on 1080p most everything, only having subpar resolution for the camera doesn't bode well for my review. This is leaps better than the Playstation Eye in some ways, but others, the original Eyetoy on PS2 had more ambitious features. Gone is the surround microphone from the Playstation Eye camera, and the ability to easily use it on PC with drivers like both the prior models of Sony's console camera accessories, in exchange for a new proprietary USB 3.0 connector. However, just like the Kinect 1.0, it again has dual lens cameras for better focal and tracking, because every one wants their console to have a way to stare at them through 2 camera eyes. The biometric and IR features of the Kinect 2.0 for Xbox one is still ahead of the game, but for needing so much space to make use of it, this likely will keep it out of small space gamers' use on the whole. However, there is no reason that some of the features couldn't be activated or coded through firmware updates over time. If you are going to stream, it's a near necessity that you have a camera, and at the current price, it's a lot cheaper than launch, and around same price as prior cameras released by Sony.

Very Cool, agree with another poster, not many games. Would be cool if playstation added more free games for it.

Camera is always a fun idea, but it's pretty rarer you will see the usage of this in most games.

I purchased the camera on sale....almost half the price if not less. The camera is decent for what it is, but there is not much to do with it. The Game Room app is fun for about 20 minutes with little kids, besides that, I haven't figured out much to do with it. Unless you like the TWITCH yourself in game streaming, I don't really see a point...yet.

I waited until the price was reasonable/on sale and glad that I made this purchase. Can't wait until more games come out to use with this camera.

my kids love it, they wanna cam all day and play games with their friends. No complaints over here. Keeps them inside and out of trouble

We were hoping this would be built in to our PS$ but it wasn't this works really well and does everything that we expected it to.

Great camera for the games that go with it. We like to use it for the dancing games. I hope there are more games to go with it soon!

Great camera, easy to use and install. Must have for the complete ps4 experience.

I got this mainly to play Just Dance 2015 and I've testing out The Playroom on the PS4 as well. The camera works well in The Playroom, recognizes the light from the controller and your presence overall. For Just Dance, it works good for the most part. Sometimes the camera loses track of me in the game (maybe it is due to the lighting in my room?). When it works, it's fun to use.

This camera is amazing. Wouldn't recommed the ps4 without it!

This camera is only for PS4. It has motion control with Move and DualShock 4 and works REALLY well. Has head tracking, facial recognition, and voice commands as well. It works much much better than the PS Eye.

The camera works perfectly. The picture is very clear. My son has posted videos that look great. It was super easy to install. My son's best friend actually walked him through how to do it. Easily used by a 11 year old. Great product for gamers. Price not too bad.

The PS Eye has been improving since its incarnation on the PS2. The PS4 version of the Eye is the best version. It looks sleek and is adjustable into many position. It can track all of my movements when I'm playing Just Dance 2015. There also isn't any motion blur when I'm just messing with the video function of this thing unlike the PS2 or PS3 version. Overall its a great assesory.

Very good camera for your PS4 console, though not many games are supported yet, it's fun to use especially with Just Dance 2015! Brings alot of fun playing with your friends and family!
