This is an absolute must for people who play multiplayer games. But besides the access to online gaming, it also offers free monthly games which more than makes up for the cost of the membership.

Coming from the Xbox platform/ecosystem, I wasn't sure if I even needed a membership, so I bought one, assuming I would. First, you can play games online without this; unlike buying an MS membership. So, why buy this? Sony has done a great job of picking a variety of independent and mainline studio games and given them for FREE to PSN paid members. This is valid across all platforms. Well done Sony, for making me feel valued and feel like my investment was worthwhile!

Good value for the free games you get each month. Required for online multiplayer.

New games every month. Not old games either. Good ones. Better value than Xbox live.

PS Plus for a whole year is exactly what I wanted. I like the perks that come with it.

If you don’t have PS plus I don’t see the point in owning PlayStation

The free games have gotten some what worse compared to when the program first launched. But the value is there.

I wasn't happy at first to have to pay for online play but once I played it is better.

This is a must have to play online, For the money this isn't bad for a whole year.

I like this better than putting my credit card information on the gaming system!
