The membership works ok, now i can play online with my ps4!

So normally I would say its a meh deal, and you could find it better elsewhere, but there was a promotion when I got it for $5 off when I bought this with the PS4 console. The price for the quality of the online experience is meh. But its a must in this day and age where all online components of games require the proprietary online network. If you have a PS4 you might as well pony up for PSN.

My cashier's name happened to also be Destiny, which made for some light mutual chuckling and joking. This is a 12-month membership card, which is also one year. Somehow, "a year" sounds like a longer period of time than "12 months" does. They should consider rebranding this product.

People get uppity about having to pay for Playstation Plus when it use to be free online multiplayer, but if you break down the sheer amount of fun you have online and the hours you spend it really is not bad at all.

I bought the year pass because I do not like dealing with renewing a membership every few months and I could not be happier, though game servers have been down a few times I still think this is a good product to have!

Subscription is ok, since it is required to for online play and other features. However since the PS4 launch, the instant game collection has been lackluster, consisting mainly of small indie games. While no one expects to get AAA titles for free on a monthly basis, the selection could be better.

I am a pc gamer so I dont use the console that much. I remember the good ol days when psp was free.
