I don't understand why with the PS4 you have to pay for membership

I always wait till this card goes on sale to make the purchase.

We're fast approaching an era where not only has couch play dissapeared, but so have solo campaigns. The time is now for games that demand online play to be able to access the majority of the content in the game... Very dissapointing.

They sent me a card that was not even activated. Every time I called them the employees kept transferring me to another department and it was really frustrating. I would not suggest ordering gift cards of any type from Best Buy.

The Playstation Plus membership offers great value. 6 or so games, some great, all decent each month plus multiplayer and online storage. This card is a good way to get access, although the one year card is a better deal if you can swing it.

A store person got me to buy this saying she used it and it's a great buy. Well no it's not my son never liked it and we couldn't return it after downloading the code. Waste of money for us.

I hate how the price went up on PlayStation plus. Because of that I switched over to Xbox Full time because I can get live cheaper. I do love PlayStation plus but not the price hike.

I ordered this item and it came before I expected which was nice but the code on the back didn't work. And I am unable to return it since its a prepaid card.

NY Key Didn't Work l. I had to sit on the phone for hours... mainly because I couldn't exchange it with best buy because it was scratched revealing the code!

buy it when its on sale do not pay full price too much to play online

My grandson is always asking for this, so I priced it and found it with Best Buy

PSN is actually a great service that gives you free games every month (as long as you remain a member). The only down side is that the games tend to be silly indy games that you wouldn't want to play for more than a couple of hours. This is in line with the frequent sales of small games on PSN that get you critic darlings that no real gamer actually loves for a long period of time. Overall, Xbox Live deliveries a much better online experience, better free games and better deals on triple A titles.

I just picked this up with some spare points I had sitting around. The 1 year for 50 is a better value for your money, but this pays for itself with the free games!

You almost can't have a Playstation without Playstation Plus. Even games like Destiny for example won't even allow you to play without being a member. Well worth it

Everyone who plans to play online multiplayer on PS4 will be required to buy one of these Playstation Plus subscriptions. Just purchase, scratch off to reveal code, and enter in the code in the PSN store. Pretty simple. You'll find more value in purchasing a full year subscription but if you know you'll only be playing for a few months, the 3 month subscription is more worthwhile.

I purchased this as a gift for my nephew to play online and take advantage of the extra bonus contents. MUST have for all PLAYSTATION owners.

A must have if you have a Playstation Console. Cheaper to buy it by the year, but I'd rather keep it short term in case a deal comes along. :)

I don't recall the exact cost, but I got this much cheaper (at Best Buy) than any other place! As a product, I guess this is fine. I'm not too into online games and I hate how these companies try to add a fee to play online. My sister and her husband are really into Destiny so I got this, but I don't utilize the online games too much. You get some perks with this, true, discounts on games and temporary free downloads every month. I also have an Xbox One and once you get a free game, it's yours, and if you get one on the 360 and it's compatible on the Xbox One, it's downloadable. Xbox One has really started catering to the consumer gamer. I'm usually not too interested in the free games, but if you don't buy games too often and you play one or two online games, this is probably the best deal with the PS4/PS3 since you get some free-ish games, themes, avatars and special discounts on some games.
