I used to be wary of online gaming, but now that I've taken the plunge I can't believe I stayed away for so long. I've had more fun gaming in the last 6 months than I've had in a long time. It's totally worth it. Once you've played against real people, AI just doesn't cut it and being able to mic-up with friends is magical. If you like more co-op play there are great games for that too (co-op in Far Cry 5 is hilarious). I highly recommend it. Pro-Tip: Once or twice a year (usually around Black Friday), they will have a sale on this where it's about $40 a year. You can buy several years worth at once then, so even if the price goes up you'll be set.

I got this on black Friday week sale, for 40 it's a better deal if you can get it on a discount, if not it's still worth as you get two free games a month, and exclusive discounts.

It's a 12 month membership for Playstation Plus. Needed to play online but the added benefit of a membership is the free monthly games Sony roles out. Always a great deal when it's on sale.

ps subscription is easy this way for me and it only takes a couple of minutes for me to set it up

My PS Plus membership expired a little more than a year ago since I was busy with college, however, I decided to renew my membership since most of the games I enjoyed playing on my PlayStation 4 were digital titles and required an active PS Plus membership. I purchased one of these 12-month subscriptions during the Days of Play for $39.99 and thinking about purchasing another (or possibly two more) just to my membership will be active for a long time and you can't beat it at $39.99. Even if you miss out on the Days of Play price, if you play PlayStation, this is a definite must have!

If you have PS3, PS VITA, PS4, or PSVR then you must get PS PLUS. Just the free game collection each month makes it well worth. Not only the free games they give you for all the consoles, but also if you want to battle a friend online, or see how good you really are & play others in the online community then you will need PS Plus to play online. I highly recommend getting this product, you will definitely get your money's worth.

This is not a bad service like many have tried to tell me. I find it to be fairly inexpensive and also opens up a whole world of gaming experiences. Many games are basically useless without this service now and say what you will about that, it is an undeniable truth that online gaming can make or break a game. If you get PS Plus make sure you buy at least a year as it will save you a little bit of money and don't forget to download those monthly free releases.

Very high quality as expected and it is easy TO use

If you have a playstation you cannot go without one of these and I didn't realize it until I started to purchase games for the kids and they were unable to play certain parts. It's not pricey at all it is very worth it and the kids were very happy. They can now play games online that you can only play online.

So, its necessary to use this if you play most online games. But it also provides value in additional discounts when games on sale, and they provide two free games a month, which may be mediocre games on some months, but very good games during other months. If you maintain this service over time, you would've accumulated quite a fair amount of games to play.

The service is necessary if you are looking to game with friends, but I can say PlayStation is really starting to give some great discounts (ps plus double discounts) to subscribers. So a service that you’re probably paying for anyways is getting better as far as value. The code comes quick and had no issues redeeming to PSN.

It includes a couple of free games per month. You can keep them in your library and download/play them any time as long as you have an active PS Plus membership. If you get it on a sale (like Black Friday), it's a reasonable value, but I don't think I'd pay more than $50 for 1 year. Value for this item is relative, though. I probably only play a few hours per week on average and seldom finish even 1 of the monthly free games. If you play 10+ hours per week or more or often finish the entire game within the month, it might still be a good value, even at a higher price.

First off, if these are ever on sale, you've got to buy one. PS Plus is an awesome service. Would I like to play online with friends without paying for it, of course. However, at least you get free games each month and sweet discounts on stuff in the PS Store. Also, for a year's worth of games and online gaming, the price isn't bad.
