I purchased for my 77" OLED with no expectations of regrets. Also love the smoother performance of Psvr2. What I didn't expect was the massive improvement to using my Playstation Portal! Something I was beginning to regret purchasing is not in my hands for every movie I watch with the family. System has never crashed on anything yet either.

I recieved used item box instead of new item box. This is the first time I got this kind of experience from BestBuy. I will recommend to buy this item in person from BestBuy rather than placing order online on BestBuy.

Horrible experience the entire time trying to play games! Something that is supposed to be fun is nothing but a troubleshooting frustration! Would expect a high-end pc could handle this technology? Steer far away if you dont want to throw your $700 psvr2 set.

PSVR2 on PC is everything I wanted

Had a little difficulty setting it up. My controllers were having trouble pairing and staying connected initially. Got a larger antenna on an extended cable for my motherboard and that solved the issue. Despite less clarity than the Quest 3 due to the fresnel lenses, the PSVR2 is a MUCH better PCVR headset experience for me. There is just something special about OLED, uncompressed video signal, and simplicity and ease of use that come with a wired connection. No futzing about with Virtual Desktop, Airlink, or Steamlink settings. No worrying about latency and a million different things that can case a Quest 3's PCVR experience to be less than perfect. This just works and works extremely well once it is set up. I'd been eagerly awaiting this adapter since before it was even announced, have been checking every single day for news about it for months, and am so satisfied now that it's finally here. 10/10 strongly recommend

I found set up for this to be relatively painless, I ran into some initial issues but I've already forgotten them. I use this headset all the time with my PC and I have no regrets, especially now that Microsoft killed WMR. I am using and AMD 7900 xt and while initially there was a settings issue (120hz only, no 90hz) that is now fixed. I have a wifi + Bluetooth PCI card and I attached a longer desk mounted antena from another card, and found no large issues with my controllers, though I only use them to get through menus as I'm primarily doing sim driving

I've recently had the opportunity to experience the PlayStation VR2 with a PC adapter, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the results. This powerful combination unlocks a vast library of PC VR games, providing a truly immersive and high-quality gaming experience. One of the biggest advantages of using the PlayStation VR2 with a PC adapter is the expanded access to a wide range of VR games. From popular titles like Half-Life: Alyx to indie gems and experimental experiences, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The setup process is relatively straightforward, although it may require some technical know-how. Once you've connected the adapter and configured your PC, you can dive into the world of PC VR. It should only get better and more stable with future updates. If you're looking to enhance your PlayStation VR2 experience and explore the vast library of PC VR games, the PC adapter is a worthwhile investment. It offers a powerful and versatile way to enjoy immersive gaming on your PlayStation console.

Working well within my expectations so far. Haven't tried the recent firmware update yet. Prior to that, the controllers can be finicky during prolonged usage but I've had zero issues with the headset itself. Occasional SteamVR crashes but some research indicates that it could be unrelated and agnostic to your headset choice. I would recommend the external Bluetooth adapter plus a short USB 2.0 extension cable to keep it away from USB 3.0 ports as that significantly decreases controller connection issues. I have also found value in the controller charging dock for cable and charging simplification. I would also recommend something to hang the headset on for storage purposes.

    Best PCVR Headset

An incredible device that turns the PSVR2 into a PCVR monster. It took 5 minutes to setup. Visuals are fantastic with deep blacks. Dark scenes don't look grey like they do with Quest 3 or other LCD PSVR headsets. Tracking is perfect, although I did get a $12 TPLINK Bluetooth adapter like everyone recommended. No artifacting or random stuttering like the Quest 3, since this is through DisplayPort. This is the best PCVR headset I've ever had, and I can still go back to using on PS5! Hopefully everyone is able to get their hands on it.

picked up the PSVR2 PC adapter recently, and honestly, I’m pretty impressed. Setup was super straightforward — basically plug it in, install the software, and it worked without any headaches. I didn’t have to mess around with long tutorials or complicated configs, which I really appreciated. On the PC side, the visuals are where it really shines. The OLED display on the headset pops compared to a lot of LCD-based headsets I’ve used. Colors look richer, blacks are deeper, and everything feels sharp and immersive. SteamVR games run smooth and it really feels like I’m getting more out of the hardware now. It’s not perfect though. You don’t get all the fancy PS5 features like eye tracking, HDR, or haptics in the headset, which is kind of a bummer. The cable setup also isn’t the cleanest since you need DisplayPort and an extra power connection. And you do need a decent Bluetooth setup for the controllers. That said, for me, the pros outweigh the cons. I wanted a simple way to unlock my PSVR2 for PC VR, and this adapter does exactly that. If you already own the headset, this adapter is a great value — it’s made my PC VR library way more fun to dive into.

I bought a new gaming Machine and because I have a PS5 VR headset, I thought I'd give this adapter a try. It's fairly easy to set up and I didn't have any issues with Bluetooth but maybe that's because my computer's new. I gave this adapter a 4 not because of any problem with the adapter but because I'm just kind of disappointed with VR headsets these days. Eventually they'll come up with something much more lightweight like the display glasses that are out, and to me are actually much more comfortable to wear and play games with.

The Sony PlayStation VR2 PC Adapter is an absolute must-have if you own a capable gaming PC. While the PSVR2 headset is excellent hardware, I found myself using it less on my PS5 because the game library is still limited, and many of the titles are on the pricey side. With this adapter, however, the headset truly comes alive—it works seamlessly with PC, unlocking access to a massive catalog of VR experiences at often much better value. The PSVR2 itself has always impressed me with its display, comfort, and tracking, but the lack of consistent PlayStation support left it feeling underutilized. This adapter completely changes that, breathing new life into the device and making it one of the best VR headsets you can use on PC today. If you already own the headset and a solid gaming rig, this adapter is a game-changer.

Had a hard time finding one of these after picking up the PSVR2 bundle over the holidays but they finally started showing up on the Best Buy website and I was able to grab one. I did read up and watch a few videos so I knew I had to also purchase a 1.4 Displayport cable for when it arrived since there is not one included. Shipping was fast and I luckily didn't have any troubles pairing the controllers to the bluetooth on my motherboard like I've read some have. Downloaded the PSVR and Steam VR apps off Steam, got them both setup, and I was up and running in no time. Nice to have the added option of playing PCVR games now! The graphics on the couple of games I checked out were great.

This thing does as advertised but not without working with it for a bit. I got the controllers to work but some other computers may need a separate bluetooth dongle to pair them. It's honestly wild they didn't include their own bluetooth chip in the box. For $60 it's a really barebones adapter. You also need an extra DisplayPort cable as well cause they don't include one either. Yeah it works fine but it's too expensive for what it is. If you already have a PSVR2 and want it working with a PC it's cheaper than buying a whole other VR headset, but if you don't then I'd look into other options.

From eye tracking, haptics, much better comfort and wear. This headset is one of the best and accessible vr sets out. I’m so happy they also removed the additional console like box needed for the original version and now it’s a simple plug and play. Oh and camera not necessary!
