A bit uncomfortable to wear due to the earpad design and the unpadded headstrap. Works great but no bluetooth, wireless function is only capale with either the USB dongle, or through a 3.5mm SE audio cable and a bluetooth DAC. You can listen passively with a headphone cable (one is included), and while you lose the ability to use the dual mics on the headset, you can listen without using the battery. In fact, you're locked out of turning it on in the first place, as plugging in a 3.5mm audio cable acts like a hardware kill switch. It's well designed to always transfer audio through the wire if it's plugged in, which is a huge plus. That comes with the added downside of not being able to use the stock headset EQ presets and customization on the PS5 though. Not a concern if you want to use it on literally any other device or the battery is dead. You can use it both wirelessly and wired while it charges so nothing really stops you from just plugging the dongle into your console, pc, or phone and running a long enough cable from either another usb port or the wall. It works wirelessly with the Switch, but absolute volume is halfway on and off. The volume controls on the headset will simultaneously control both the headset's volume and the Switch's output volume. So I recommend setting the headset volume to where you want before plugging it in. The Switch's onboard volume buttons only adjust its volume output to the USB thankfully. I recommend setting the headset to half volume and then adjusting the switch's volume to desired level. The headset works wirelessly on PC, but windows (haven't tested linux or mac) volume will remain constant and you can ONLY adjust the headset volume - which sucks - because the headset volume only has 11 settings, 0-10. Controls are all jammed onto the left earcup and you have to train yourself to know by hand position and touch what button or switch you are about to press. The controls are cumbersome to say the least. Wait for a sale, if you can't wait then you can probably just get something else that plugs into your controller, and then has universal support through wired connections, for far cheaper.

Great headset. Comfortable and stylish. Although it feels a little cheaply made it performs really well. The sound quality on these are really good. Also the 3D audio is amazing. Gave it one less star because it feels like you are going to break it all the time.

Headset is the best, sound quality is amazing, it immerses you in any game, so you can hear perfectly and therefore play your best game. There are buttons on the left side of the headset that allows you to mute, adjust the headset volume, switch the volume of the game sound to the voice chat sound, power button. The headset last for around 5 hours of gaming until the indicator sounds that it needs to be charged. Don't quote me on this though. Battery life is quite good on this headset.

These headphones are used strictly for gaming and they do exactly what there supposed to, they sound great, even after hours of use they never put any strain on the outer part of the ears either, the foam and leather are so soft it makes for a very comfortable position

Sound great. Work great. Comfortable over-ear design. i'm happy with these. I don't really do much with 3D sound, so i can't really comment on the 3D aspect. Tho i've never really run into issues with batter life, i was surprised to learn that this sony product seems to have half the battery life of most of it's competitors -- which is bizarre since sony has always been great with battery life in most of their products. That being said, i've never really gamed enough to need 12+ hours of battery.

Pretty nice headphones. Excellent sound quality and works for a long time per charge cycle, though I’m not sure about voice input usage. If you wear glasses, be prepared for soreness around the ears after a couple hours. Otherwise it’s pretty comfortable.

Great Sound, Snug Fit. Poor Earcup Design

Pretty good. Sound is tremendous and depending on the game you are playing, you can get a really full 3D surround sound experience. My only concern is the super snug fit and size of the ear cups. It took some time for me to get used to wearing these because of the size and shape of the ear cups are rather small and almost perfectly round. Although this helps with sound it also makes them a little uncomfortable when you first begin wearing them. I would prefer that they be oval shaped and a little larger to fit more comfortably. After a few hours of playing my ears would get sweaty and actually have a tingling or slight burning sensation. However, after breaking them in (took a couple of weeks of wearing), they headset loosened up and got more flexible. As a result, they don't fit so snuggly around my ears and feel a lot more comfortable.

It does what you would expect. Pretty nice 3D audio, allows you to experience it however be aware there are other more expensive better quality ones on the market, but this is okay to begin with. The quality of the headphones themselves are similar to the ps4's official licensed headphones. The black is nice and asleep, the buttons are very easy to use. Be aware these are not over the ear headphones so if you wear earrings and such it will feel uncomfortable. After using for 2-3 hours you feel a little discomfort too but nothing that is not bearable

These PlayStation Wireless Earphones are awesome! In terms of Sound quality, Top-notch, Comfort and seamless connection , they are best . While playing long hours, you forget they're even in your ears. Honestly, when you're deep into your game, you won't even notice. Totally worth it for serious gamers.

Great set of headphones. Seamless stress free connection. Clear sound. Battery last all day for me. Reducing annoying chatter during gameplay with a single button press. And you can even listen to your mic as an "awareness mode" to hear whats going on around you. No cable getting in your way but is available. No chunky mic.

These are super comfortable and I sometimes forget I’m wearing them. Sound quality is great and they look good too. I didn’t give five stars because I wish the volume could be turned up just a touch, but other than that these are great.

I cant give 2.5 five stars so 3 stars it is. I compared these against Sony - WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Cancelling headphones and i was disappointed with both of them and heres why. Pulse 3D headphones exclusively build to take advantage of ps5 tempest 3D audio engine lack the high audio volume and high quality fidelity to accomplish what the tempest engine can deliver yet it delivers a decent enough quality and volume if you don't have a noisy environment like refrigerator,AC, dogs, loud neighborhood etc. Due to the lack of noise cancelling for the earphones them selves or enough volume to provide enough volume to overcome some what the outside noises. Conectivity: and latency however either connected directly or wireless bluethooth to the ps5 is not only very easy but also responsiveness is very fast, no latency between what you do on screen to you ears, its right on the money. Comfort: They are uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time the ear cuff is to small and round, clipping the edge of your ear hurting it overtime specially if you wear glasses. There is a way around it and that's if you have small enough ears to not get clipped or if you just willing to endure the pain or get use to it, which i think no one should get use to something thats wrong. Sound Quality: Disappointed, before getting these i tested the Sony - WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Cancelling headphones side by side and they weren't even close to deliver what the M4s could, which was disappointed because i was hoping for if not a bit better at least equal since these pulse headphones had the upper hand being built specifically for the ps5 however the M4s are not recognized by the ps5 bluethooth compatibility which blew my mind because why in the hell would a Sony WH 1000M4 headphones not be bluethooth compatible with a sony Ps5! You are Nuts Sony! Yet even with that issue the M4s delivered a more believable 3D audio connecting the M4s through my tvs bluethooth even though connection was not stable between my tvs bluethooth it still managed to deliver better sound than the playstation pulse headphones when connection was stable. Now plugin directly to the controller is where the M4s sound muffled just like the pulse did which it through me off, so something weird is going between sound delivery between the controllers bluethooth and ps5 something to keep in mind or dig deeper into. If only the m4s had a direct bluethooth connectivity with ps5 im sure they would have been the go to for gaming on ps5 and take you closer to 3D tempest audio more then the pulse could ever do, do to the lack of outside sound isolation or higher volume capabilities high enough to drown whatever environment noises you may have. If you have the money get the M4s and buy a separate bluethooth dongle to plug into the ps5 and see if that works ( i did not test that ) yet even if you don't youll will be happier with the somys WH 1000 m4s due to better quality audio, higher volume capabilities, environmental sound isolation and way more comfortable (Way) more comfortable than the pulse 3D playstation headphones.
