A: Yes, hidden in the war cup.
A: You can get 3D sound from any headset (so long as it is compatible with the PS5 in general, either via USB dongle or 3.5mm jack into the controller) or speaker system. The 3D audio is a software feature on the PS5, not specific to any hardware. Note, the effect will work best and most consistently with headphones.
Q: will this work if connected to a PC?
A: Yes. You just have to plug the USB dongle provided with your headset into an empty USB slot in your PC and it should work instantly. Basically it's plug and play.

Q: Are you able to mute the mic or is it always on when connected?
A: Yes, they will have a mute button on one of the ear cups just like the PlayStation Platinum and Gold headsets.
Q: will these work as headphones for your phone as well?
A: If it has a 3.5mm input. They're aren't Bluetooth capable which is a bummer
A: My experience has shown that audio will be routed through the headphone when they are powered on eliminating audio through external speakers.

The sound quality is insane for gaming!
I never thought I’d say this but the 3D audio engine Sony built is better than ATMOS. I will say this, if you plan to play call of duty Cold War you better have this headset! It gives you such an advantage being being able to hear footsteps on different floors and on different surfaces. This headset is extremely comfortable it doesn’t block all the surrounding noise from your environment which I actually appreciate because noise canceling headphones kind of give me claustrophobia and make me feel stuffy. I do wish the ear cups were a little bit bigger for people that have bigger ears. My ear tends to “crunch” a touch on the top of the cup just a bit.

Perfect headset
These headphones are so comfortable, has an amazing stereo sound, works perfect using the Bluetooth piece and/or the cable that connects to controller, they don’t hurt my head like the turtle beaches I had, & once they’re charged they last several days just from one charge. I highly recommend!

PS5 Pulse 3D Wireless Headset
Very good quality in this product, without a doubt, the work that the Sony team has done is excellent, I have always been an admirer of this brand, and I already have my entire set only from Sony, without a doubt they are good headphones, they sound perfect and The 3D system is incredible, super comfortable and easy to use, there are many better models of this same brand, but these are excellent, I recommend it 100%
