    PULSE Explore wireless earbud

Not what I expected from a pair of “PS” Earbuds they sound good, but not enough for their price point. Understandably wanting to drop the weight of a headset. This was a good try slightly missed the mark with oddly placed buttons and weird fit, and also lack of a Battery while playing long sessions.

Sony PULSE Explore — Immersive Gaming in Earbud Fo

The Sony PULSE Explore is a compelling option if your priority is immersive, low-latency gaming audio on the PS5, in a compact in-ear form. Their sound quality and dual connectivity are standout features. But if you often play for very long stretches, travel, or need strong mic performance or noise cancelling, there are trade-offs to consider.

Great sound, comfortable, you’ll need to find the right size plugs for your ear which it comes with multiple sizes already, and learn to put them on or they will fall. Once you learn that they don’t fall at all.

Earbud fit takes some getting used to, microphone is too quiet on pc discord, sound is really good for earbuds, battery is mediocre and disconnection can happen if you accidentally hit the pairing button on the earbud

They don't feel very premium, even the case feels a bit cheap. Sound is decent, but on the Portal at max volume they're not very loud. Considerably overpriced.

Sound decent once they update, i dont like the lack of transport control. Ultimately i dont really enjoy gaming with earbuds but they are nice sounding and decently fitting

Ever since they fixed the connection issue with these earbuds they been working just fine. Sound good on both the PS5 and Portal. I don't use the microphone so i can't speak to the quality of that. Sound better and are more comfortable than the original Sony 3d Pulse headphones I picked up back when those were first released.

I’d have to say that Sony/PS5 is going in the right direction with these. They are very convenient for someone like myself who doesn’t like headphones on my head because I’d rather be headset free! The battery life is really good! The only flaw I’d say is that the comfort in the ear isn’t too good but maybe that’s my ear shape lol. Def worth a purchase if you relate to me about headphones.

The Impulse pods are good. The sound quality is excellent coming from a PlayStation product. The ability to use them with your phone is great but will not disconnect automatically when removed from your ear. They are also quite bulky and a little uncomfortable and clumsy inside the ear. Of your into PlayStation items this is something to have but for comfort I would go with a headset or other comfortable pods

[Employee of bestbuy] You would think earphones would not be as good as over the ear headphones, but that is not the case with these. They sound amazing and while gaming they wont fatigue your ears or head.

The Sony headphones deliver an impressive audio experience with rich sound quality and effective noise cancellation. The comfortable design makes them suitable for long listening sessions. However, the premium price might be a consideration for some. Overall, a top-notch choice for audiophiles seeking exceptional audio performance and comfort.

    Connection Issues Almost Guaranteed

First off, the sound quality is nice, when they work. The main issue I had is that the PS Link adaptor seemingly did not have a strong connection to the earbuds, because several times throughout my play session the L or R or both earbuds would just disconnect. The connection to the PS5 console is terrible, and after having to reset them over and over during several days of usage, I opted to return them. More trouble than they are worth. If Playstation was able to fix the connection issue I would have gladly kept them, but Sony support wanted me to pay shipping and handling to return them to be repaired. Not happening, especially when these just released and people have several accounts of poor connection.
