Customers are delighted by the PULSE Explore Wireless Gaming Earbuds' impressive sound quality, comfortable fit, and decent battery life. Many appreciate the lightweight design and immersive 3D audio experience. However, some users have expressed concerns regarding connection issues, the high price point, and the bass performance. Additionally, a few users feel the volume range and wireless range could be improved.

If the microphone didn’t sound awful, these would be even better. The carrying case is convenient to charge them when I’m on the go. I’ve even used them to work out when my AirPods are dead. Very disappointing that I have to use a USB dongle to connect them to my PS5. It’s using proprietary Sony tech and you can’t even connect them through Bluetooth. Kinda dumb that I have to use the dongle. Especially for the price.

The short of it is for the $200 price tag these simply don't cut it, the connection via. the dedicated dongle is incredibly shoddy and prone to disconnects and has a very short range compared to just about any other wireless offering. The bluetooth audio quality is incredibly subpar on the other end, the planar magnetic drivers serve as a double edged sword on this end as the lossless audio quality offered on PS5 is great, whats puzzling however is bluetooth uses AAC 16-bit audio which introduces very noticible compression making everything sound muffled and low quality, SBC actually sounds better but the connection quality is incredibly unstable should you opt to disable AAC making it borderline unusuable. This makes very little sense being the only codec option at this price point as Sony literally developed the LDAC codec as a higher quality bluetooth option which is present in most of their high pricetag products, yet seemingly absent from these. There is simply no excuse for the poor bluetooth audio quality at this price point, it is just laziness on the end of Sony. Again this is a $200 product, and that goes without mentioning its missing a lot of basic features that are staples in this price range for wireless audio when they want to tout how amazing and immersive the audio experience is. If both sides of the audio experience were great on their own it would be an easy reccomend, but both have glaring issues currently and I cannot reccomend these to anyone. -1 for the frequent disconnects on PS5, -1 for the unacceptably poor quality bluetooth audio, and -1 for lack of any real basic standard features at this price point

I was very nervous due to some reviews. The earbuds fit great for my ears. Sound is great. Mine keep a great connection with the portal.

Amazing! No need for headphones, these are very comfortable and just as functional as headphones… Friends can hear me perfectly as well! 5 stars for sure… but I wish they were cheaper

Comfortable in the ears. Case is sleek. Basically noise cancelling and base and sound are fantastic. A little pricey but i have no regrets and the vibrations and feedback during games is shockingly fun to feel.

The sound quality is very good. I can easily use them with my pc , phone, and ps5 with ease. The only negatives I have is they fit a little awkward but after awhile I got use to them and the battery life is not the greatest compared to other earbuds.

I got these today and they connected to my ps5 right away. Played a few games for about an hour and they were still going strong. I do have to agree that they do hurt my ears a bit but i have not tried the other tips yet. All in all i will be keeping these.

My initial impression of these were that they were painful and uncomfortable to wear, and that impression did not change. You have to orient these so the logo faces right-side up like in the product images. This process can be frustrating and painful. For sound, they were pretty average for in-ear buds. The INZONE Buds are superior to these, in my opinion, and cost only a little more. These are really designed for that PS5 and PlayStation Portal user who wants 2.4GHz speeds with no USB dongles. Too niche. Had to return them.

If you want gaming earbuds for the PlayStation this is it. The only thing I would complain about would be the pricing. It’s not a good price for these earbuds especially for the quality of them. But over all I would recommend

Best earphone/earbuds I’ve even had for gaming. I don’t like big headphones over my head so these are awesome. I love how I can connect to both my game and phone at the same time

Personally not a fan as the parts hurt the inner ear but otherwise is a great product. Maybe better and more comfortable for someone else. Sound is just as good as the 3D Pulse. Just personally didn’t like the comfort of them.
