I will be taking it back . Was really disappointed in Best Buy .Now I have to spend time and money taking it back .

Drove back to Best Buy to purchase cable to upload recording and found that it has a built in usb. Could have easily been stated in operators manual be wasn't.

I didn’t even try using it as a voice recorder. I wanted it for very loud “noise” coming from a upper floor level. Unfortunately, as hard as I tried, placing it at different levels and places in the room, for some reason it just could not pick up the loud sounds from above. It may be a great recorder but it just didn’t work for my purpose.
