I bought these headphones for my wife, who has substantial hearing loss (and wears hearing aids). Though they did the job we expected, they weren't as comfortable as she would have liked (and the headset didn't do her hair style any favors). She ended up with a newer set of hearing aids that have Bluetooth, and the TV audio goes straight to her aids. I'll use the headphones when I'm trying to keep the house quiet.

The headphones cut out constantly!! It doesn't matter where we move the base around at all and these were not inexpensive headphones not happy!!!

Sorry we waited so long to buy a new headset, but very glad we chose this model. The quality of sound and product is excellent. Hooking them up was very simple, just plug it in the Audio Out Jack, and plug into a 120V outlet. My wife enjoys the controls and adjustablity of this unit very much. I highly recommend this product

I needed these headphones for 2 reasons. First my hearing is not that good and it's hard for me to understand the dialog on TV. Secondly I needed a way to watch TV after my wife went to bed. These headphones work great for both problems. I can now watch TV and understand everything that is being said and I don't disturb my wife.

Medication is making my mother lose her hearing, making movie watching difficult. But with these she can hear everything.

I do not hear well, and this device really helps, but it works intermittently. When it's working I can understand nearly 100% of what's being said in spite of canned laughter. But it cuts out on a regular basis. If I move it around it will come back on. Must be a loose connection somewhere but it's new, and there shouldn't be a problem. This is the only Best Buy product that has ever let me down.

Bought for my husband so he could listen to his tv channels and I didn't have to listen as well - especially when he throws open the patio doors and watches from out there. So now he can hear and neither I nor the neighbors have to hear it. Effectively dealt with dueling tv's in this house. He loves them. Says the sound is great.

If you are looking for something when your partner wants to sleep this is the ticket. Easy to use and works very good.

Would have given it 5 stars but the rechargeable batteries were dead. Now i'm stuck using regular batteries.

The best thing I have bought in a long time! with only one person in the house with hearing impairment, this has been a shout saver! I can have my volume and the TV can be at a more acceptable level for the house (or even no volume if needed). Don't know why I didn't try this sooner!

Excellent sound for the money. Could use more cushion for ear comfort but not bad. Very easy setup. If you have problems with hearing too much background music in the show you are watching, then you need to adjust your setting in your tv menu. I use these with Sony Bravia and setup was real easy

My mother has a significant amount of hearing loss. She cannot handle hearing a normal TV for she cannot understand what is being said. She loves the Atlanta Braves and now with the headphones hooked up to the TV, she can listen to the game and understand what is being said quite well.
