Last model much better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We've been using Sony RF headphones for many years now and I can honestly say this new model is not up to par. The signal lacks the strength of the previous model. I could go anywhere in our home, upstairs, out on the patio, into the garage, even to the end of our driveway, etc., and the signal came through loud and clear. With this model, not so much. Really disappointed and if it's not too late to return them, I probably will. Sorry, we really wanted them to work out, because the ear pads on the previous pair began to fall apart and one (1) ear pad replacement from Sony is $10.80! Since the headphones are a few years old, decided to purchase a new pair instead of spending nearly $25 on two small ear pads. When they didn't have the old model any longer, decided to purchase the latest & greatest new model which turned out to be a mistake. The previous model I'd recommend all day, these ones, no.
