This unit is not meant for a bony head. Or for a bony type of person. Just because SONY rhymes with bony doesn't mean that these should be purchased by bony people. That is a stereotype that should be addressed right on the packaging.

He really enjoys them and I found it really easy to set them up. The base is a bit tall if you're trying to hide it away, but also makes it easy to set them down when you're not using them.

Easy to install but my satisfaction ended there. Phone volume was scratchy and slightly distorted. I also think the headphones felt heavy and bulky for long term use. I only used for one hour and discontinued use.

Lasted barely a year before plastic arm broke at connections to both headphones. Also, too many adjusting buttons that made no appreciable difference in sound coming through headset.
