Dad really likes them.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these for my dad for his 81st birthday to replace his very worn out old set. They’re easy to set up and comfy to wear. Sound wise they’re way better than his old cheapies and almost as good as the super expensive Sennheisers he’s had in the past. Sometimes they seem to get a bit of interference and will crackle a little but we moved the antenna farther away from the tv and that seems to have helped.

QFM, Easy setup, Comfortable. Good Sound.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent a week researching Wireless Home Theater Headphones from multiple online reviews. Compared prices, setup & personal situation requirements, (small apartment with thin walls). Finally decided on these. Purchased them yesterday & put on charge, (was a pain having to wait 7 hours for supplied rechargeable battery to fully charge but these do come with the option of using two AAA batteries - Non rechargeable). Connected very quickly using my TV variable RCA output to "Y" mini stereo jack, (I had to buy this separately!). Switched off the TV speaker & have been watching Sports & Movies for a few hours with them today. Overall very satisfied. Sound quality is good. They fit nicely around my ears. Light & comfortable. For the price I think these are a Best Buy!

Battery technology sucks but Headphones good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are designed to use ONLY ONLY Nickel-metal Hydride (NMH) batteries. This is old technology, battery capacity low, NMH batteries not easily available any more, not sold at Walmart, Target, etc. I have tried NEW alkaline batteries and FULLY CHARGED rechargeable lithium ion, but neither work. Somehow the headphones are smart enough to tell the difference and won't work with anything BUT NMH. I bought NMH rechargeable batteries at a specialty battery store and they work fine. The headphones WORK great, sound good, and are comfortable but I CANNOT recommend them as long as they REQUIRE old technology, not easily available NMH batteries that only hold a short charge and have a short 'recharge' life compared to modern batteries. I still use these headphones, but I have to charge the batteries on a separate charger and the charge does not last very long. (I don't KNOW, but I have a feeling that some of the reviewers that say the headphones 'stopped working' may have been trying to use alkaline or lithium ion batteries. To those people I would recommend buying some NMH batteries at a battery store and see if they work like they did for me.) ALSO, the 2018 model of these headphones are called WH-RF400 and use the same, outdated battery technology.
