Got these because I didnt want to run wires in my leased apartment. Does the thing but audio drop out does occur often in my apartment environment with audio quality set to Quality (over the alternative mode ‘Connection )

If you are looking to be able to move your speakers to areas without a plug, these are it. Excellent sound quality.

 Added a great deal of immersion to the Sony a7000 atmos soundbar. I didn’t love the large wall wart style plug for each though.  In the end I felt that these combined with the Sony a7000 and SW5 sub are a good choice, but outshined by the Samsung q990b for significantly less money.

Nice rear speakers for the Bravia setup. Syncing was relatively easy. Mounting to the wall wasn’t bad at all. They sound pretty good.

I'm not sure why these cost $600, but they certainly aren't $600 speakers. To start, when paired with an A7000, at max volume, they barely create any volume. Like the A7000, the complete lack of user-facing control over sound and sound quality is a shame. Having a battery on these that lasts 6-10 hours is the most pointless design flaw I've ever seen. These are stationary bookshelf speakers intended to be used in the home. Why in the world did somebody think adding a battery that needs to be plugged in and recharged every three days was a good idea? Seems like a half-baked way to make the price go up. You can always leave them plugged in all the time, which I do, but because the battery loses a little bit of juice every time the speakers get powered off, you have to deal with the lights blinking for the first 15-30 minutes the speakers are on. I'm not sure whose bright idea it was to add a battery to a non-portable device, but it makes the whole thing more cumbersome than it needs to be and doesn't add anything to the standard, intended use of this product. Between the lacking volume and the nonsensical design of the product, these are not $600 speakers. I can't speak to the cheaper RS3's, but I'd wager the actual volume and sound quality between the RS3's and RS5's are identical. Weak effort from Sony, especially given the otherworldly sound quality of the A7000. Hard to fathom these came from the same product line and the same manufacturers.

Fantastic product! Originally ordered the RS3, but returned for these, very happy with the output and surround sound these bring.

Quick and easy setup. Sounds great. Can be placed anywhere.

I love Sony products. They can be expensive, but I love their style and functionality. These did not disappoint. I have an A5000 soundbar with the SW5 sub… these rear speakers were a great addition and create an awesome surround sound effect.

GAME CHANGER! I have been wanting the atmos experience WITH versatility and quality. These speakers are the absolute best for music and making your home theater into a fully immersive Dolby Atmos Experience. Just buy them

Even though i watch all nee movies with dolby atmos tag written on it, somehow my sony soundbar and rear speakers are not able to satisfy the surriund sound experience. The speaker volume is low to minimum at the highest setting. I wish it provided more surrond sound experience.

Great sound but not worth the price for just some speakers

Great addition to my all Sony home theater. Setup was very easy and connected right away to HT-A5000. Did auto calibration, but you have to change a setting as it was very quiet.

Rear speakers work great. While watching a movie with our Sony- HT-A7000 7.1.2 Channel Soundbar and Sony - SA-SW5 300W Wireless Subwoofer, it’s like being in movie theatre. You get the full audio experience coming from every direction. Couldn’t ask for a better surround sound system.

I been waiting for these speakers and it was definitely worth the wait!!! I have completed my set with these speakers along with the HTA7000 and the SA-SW5 Sub. They all connected and definitely bringing the 360 sound to life. I am really happy with the product!!

I had sound bar and subwoofer. These rare speakers were missing. Great addition as it amplifies the sound quality with real Surround sound. Great experience to watch movies and classical music.

Best Surround Speakers I've ever owned. No need to add them to a Router on your Home Network. They communicate directly with the TV.
