The demo's gave off an incredible, audible sound; however, I could get no audible sound when watching movies. The soundbar seemed to output all the sound. I will be returning.

When I plugged it back in, it wont sync to the bar, wont reset, and Sony had me try everything I already tried and it's bricked (flashing green light 3 times). Sony finally told me to take it to a 3rd party local company for repair. Waste of money.

-Confirm the speakers are properly paired and connected to your soundbar.
-Ensure the speakers are charged or plugged in, as the SA-RS5 features a built-in battery.
-Reset the speakers and manually reconnect them to your system as follows: Disconnect the AC adaptor from the AC outlet (mains). Press and hold OPTIMIZE for more than 10 seconds. The rear speaker is reset.

Lackluster performance

To complete the home theater, I then purchased the SA-RS5 rears and SW5 sub (expensive setup). After setting everything up (which was a very easy experience) was completely let down by the anemic low sound produced at the rears. I found myself placing my ears up to the speakers assuming they were off! Checked multiple online chats and found I’m not alone. Sony needs to put out a firmware correcting this issue IMMEDIATELY!
