First thing, they were on a huge sale. They were a little fussy to set up the sound parameters (blue took connection was easy and effortless though). Maybe I'm a little OCD, but wanted specific 7.1 sound out put. Now that they are set up, I wondered how I have lived with out them. They produce plenty of volume and spatial awareness. It almost makes You purchase media that has all those sound fields.

These speakers sound amazing! The audio is clear, loud, and fills the room really well. They’re easy to set up and respond quickly, making them perfect for music, movies, and everyday use. I’m very happy with the performance and would definitely recommend them.

Bought these with a Sony STR-AN1000 receiver. They synced easily and the microphone tuning of the STR-AN1000 worked well. The only issue is I had two existing Atmos height speakers ontop of my right and left tower. Thought these up firing heights would add 2 more Atmos but the STR-AN1000 can't support wired and wireless height at the same time. That's more a knock on the STR-AN1000 then these specific speakers but make sure your receiver can support them if you are looking for 5.1.4. These do not have the option to wire them into a receiver. I did buy them because I liked the wireless but if I move to a non-Sony receiver someday not sure they would sync. Knocked a star off of value for this lack of future proofing.

In a NYC Apt: Perfect pair up w/ Bravia Soundbar 8 and 65" Bravia 8 OLED. Plenty of sound, bass and effects to get a an immersive experience w/o external subwoofer. Achieving surround DTS Atmos on budget for not much more than buying just the Bravia Soundbar 9 only. If you have the budget sure but this combo is already fantastic at half volume. Well though out design, materials, components included. If you wait for sales can get the Soundbar 8 and these rear speakers for cheaper than the Soundbar 9!!

I like the rear speakers it sounds good! It's a big speaker and loud enough to hear the sound effects as it is meant to do. It has volume control. I keep mines plugged in the outlet. Or you can use it portable without plugging it in for 10 hrs. It has lights in the front to let you know when to charge it back up and it works plugged in and charging at the same time.

WOW… I have the Sony A7000 sound bar paired with the RS-3. My wife wanted to watch the Eras concert from Taylor Swift and asked me if the RS-5’s will make a difference (she knew about the research I was doing) then I said, there is only one way to find out. Went to Best Buy, bought them, installed one of them on the same wall mounts from the RS-3’s (for testing purposes) and we were impressed with the difference. However, if you like to customize your audio EQ then do not get these RS-5’s since they are fixed and cannot customize the audio coming out of them. The Sony A7000 sound bar does all of the configuration for it and you won’t be disappointed either but I would love for Sony to give us more access as with the RS-3’s. The up firing speaker form the RS-5 is really noticeable even with my old popcorn ceiling. Definitely worth the upgrade. $$$ Expensive!

Sound is great! They work well with my receiver and enhance the surround sound over prior speakers. The only downside is the battery only lasts 10 hours. They charge relatively quickly though

These things play mind games, especially whenyou got dolby content playing its very impressive and the wireless feature makes them way more versatile in placement

Paired these SARS 5speakers with HTA 5000 sound bar andSASW5 subwoofer Soundbar was purchased in2023 great that the system can be added to as you are able Sound is spectacular in 20x20 room with 12 ft ceiling. These speakers put out fabulous sound but not huge volume originally we had them about 6 ft behind seating and 6 ft off the floor after moving them to 3 ft behind seating and 4 ft above floor sound is great. Both speakers synced up automatically when powered on and we have had no issues. These speakers are on the expensive side for home systems but probably worth the extra cost

Super easy to set up. Up firing speakers make a world of difference and are amazing. High quality sound. Connection with hta-5000 is automatic and the 360 mapping feature works great. You will have a power wire running to it to charge or if you mount them.

The speakers worked well but took few minutes to set up and multiple tries. Good sound overall

I'll catch myself wondering where that noise came from, and look behind and realize your hearing sounds in movies you've never heard of

Pair these with a 77 inch Sony Bravia OLED and an HT-A7000 sound bar. While the sounds is crisp and clear the volume does seem a bit limited to the rear speakers to get a great surround sound experience unless it is a sound track specifically engineered for the Sony sound system.

Purchased these as an Open Box Product. So far, for the most part, they seem to work as advertised. They are definitely worth the extra cost with a vast improvement over the SA-SR3S speakers I originally purchased (i.e., exponentially much better sound) The information included with the product was fairly limited for how they speakers operate and how to connect them. They rely almost entirely on the use of the sound bar remote control and a sequence of processes that are not intuitive and limited guidance, so unless you have used these before you will likely need to call Sony for help. Thankfully Sony was very easy to reach, helpful, friendly and patient with less experienced audiophiles. They will walk you through all the steps and educate you on what you need to know to get the best performance. I would give it 4.5 Stars.

The installation was simple. I bought rear speaker stand instead of attached to wall. Speakers run on battery but need to recharge for 3-4 hours. Initially have issues with very low sound. Wanted to return but changed mind to check with Sony support. Called them to explain the problem. They guided me to set the speaker to high decibel value. My night mode was already off. After adjusting the decibel value to high i.e. 6, the speaker throughput increased. Now sound is high enough to know the background effect. After initial hiccup, all is going well for last 10 days. Sounds movies great with UHD and advance audio support.

You definitely want rear surround speakers for your HT-A7000 sound bar and these are far superior to the smaller SA-RS3S speakers. The additional upward firing speakers of the SA-RS5 really complete the surround experience. Easy to connect and mount, have had no issues with wireless connectivity.

These speakers were easy to install and set up. They matched perfectly with the soundbar. The sound is almost perfect I wish they were abit louder but I guess that’s the surround sound level.

so i bought these to pair with the hta 7000 sound bar and the sasw5 sub and there rear speakers sound great i have no issues at thank god lol the work great and sound great i wish they were a bit louder still playing a bit with settings on this one great product great sound..

They work great. Literally sound like a movie theater when paired to a sony soundbar that offers spatial sound.
