The speaker volume is low to minimum at the highest setting. I wish it provided more surrond sound experience.

If you are having trouble with lost connection or stuttering sounds, it is recommended to turn off the RF auto optimization. It’s a blast using this for movies and video games utilizing surround sound. Highly recommended!

While watching a movie with our Sony- HT-A7000 7.1.2 Channel Soundbar and Sony - SA-SW5 300W Wireless Subwoofer, it’s like being in movie theatre. You get the full audio experience coming from every direction. Couldn’t ask for a better surround sound system.

Setup was very easy and connected right away to HT-A5000. Did auto calibration, but you have to change a setting as it was very quiet.

Amazing rear speakers

I have completed my set with these speakers along with the HTA7000 and the SA-SW5 Sub. They all connected and definitely bringing the 360 sound to life. I am really happy with the product!!

Does the thing but audio drop out does occur often in my apartment environment with audio quality set to Quality (over the alternative mode ‘Connection )

We're sorry to hear you're experiencing audio dropouts with your SA-RS5 speakers. This is often caused by wireless interference in crowded environments like apartments.
Since you are using the "Quality" mode, we recommend changing the "Wireless Playback Quality" setting to "Priority on Stable Connection" in your soundbar's menu. This should help improve the connection stability and reduce the dropouts. You should also ensure the speakers are not too close to other wireless devices. I couldn't help myself from getting the two rear speakers. I love that they can be completely wireless. So it doesn't constantly clog up the living room.

The 360 spatial audio experience is immersive and gives you that full HT experience without the bulkiness of a full speaker system. If you haven't bought the RS5 with the A5000 or 7000 with sub, you are missing out on a whole different experience.
