I have been waiting for sony to release atmos capable surround speakers. I am glad I held off on the RS3s because the RS5s are perfect! Also love that they are wireless

The speakers are really nice. I like the convenience of rechargeable batteries. I have it with the whole system and it’s really not immersive enough to me.

Sony really dropped the ball on this one. You can barely here anything coming out of these speakers when watching a 4k movie with atmos, even on a disc player. They feel very hefty and and good quality, and they seem like they have the potential to put out some good sound but totally not worth the $600 asking price. I wouldn't waste any amount of money on a speaker that doesn't produce sound. Sony nneds to come out with a version 2.0 of this speaker so we can enjoy the full effect. I tried them for a week and returned them for a refund.

I paired these with the HT-A7000 and SW-5 sub. I have to say I am impressed, especially when watching a movie with Dolby Atmos. Pairing with the Soundbar was simple

Love these rears. Added them to my Sony tv with my soundbar cause I wanted that top notch quality and they didn't disappoint. Love them!

Definitely an improvement from my previous but just a little better. Some movies sound better than others. Overall worth it

What a great pair of speakers! Brings it all togather.

Even though these are supposed to be the latest and greatest I ultimately went back to the store to exchange for the less SA-RS3's which I am far more pleased with my HT-7000a and SW3 sub. Here's why: 1) One of the speakers was experiencing interference, likely from my wifi router being nearby. Tried different optimization settings and changing connections but nothing worked. Note: the RS3's did NOT have this problem in the same location. 2) These things are big and heavy. Take note of the dimensions. Also thought the design didn't really match the rectangle soundbar. 3) Found the volume to be too uneven. Sometimes a little too much bass, other times can barely hear. Price to performance was not worth it to me. 4) You can't use these as standalone stereo speakers which may have justified the additional cost to take into another room or increase music throughout the home. I would point out these rears are only useful in 5.1 channel (or higher) audio source. They will work with stereo music if you use the "Immersive Audio" function but I found the sound to be too altered from the main soundbar (very airy and echo-y) so usually just keep it off. Very satsified with the RS3's at half the price for adding surround which makes for a fuller movie experience. I find the atmos upfiring feature to be pretty overrated overall, but do enjoy the Sony combination for multiuse in the living room.

The Sony SA-RS-5 rear speakers are a great addition to your surround . Add great sound especially when watching movies

These pair great with my Sony HT-A7000 soundbar. They look great and sound even better!
