Great Sound, Easy Setup

Sounds like a sub should. Had to pause my TV during a movie rain and thunder scene to make sure it wasn't raining. Felt like the rain and thunder were all around me. Low rumbles and big booms were spot on. Fills a very large open concept room no problem.

Perfect compliment to Sony HT-A7000 Soundbar!

This thing has completely blown me away. It puts my sister's Gen 2 Sonos sub to shame in both music and movie sound! Super tight and punchy bass - and an amazing must-have compliment to the HT-A7000 soundbar. Saving $200 of the set of soundbar, sub, and surrounds was also a nice tough. If you have either of the new Sony flagship systems - skip the 200w smaller sub and get this beast if you can afford it. You will NOT regret it!

SA-SW5 can fill a big room with HT-A9

I combine it with the X95K 85" as a center channel and the dialog did significantly improved with Voice mode. Surround/immersion experience is just amazing. This combination is way better than my previous 5.1 setup with towers, center and bi-polar rear speakers...Especially in 7.1 (Dolby Atmos and DTS:X etc.). The openning scene of Dungeons & Dragons make me feel like I was in the middle of a blizzard.
