- A: AnswerI agree that this sub is very expensive. I purchased it in a package and received about a 200 discount. I have not yet set it up, but it sounds incredible in the cavernous Best Buy store and will be great in my family room. When you buy Sony, you buy the best.

- A: AnswerSwitch to your soundbar input and hit "home" on the remote. Navigate to settings and look for the RF Optimization. Turn it off and then back on or if the issue keeps happening try leaving it off. This resets the bluetooth connection between the sub and/or satellite rear speakers and tends to clear up static/dropouts. I actually just leave it off now and have no issues.

The SA-SW5 is only compatible with the A-Series Soundbars and Home Theater System such as the HT-A9, HT-A7000, HT-A5000, and HT-A3000. It cannot connect with any other speaker system. Simply power up the SA-SW5 subwoofer and it automatically makes a wireless connection with your HT-A9 Home Theater System or HT-A7000, HT-A5000 or HT-A3000 Soundbar. The SASW5 is not capable of the party connect feature this subwoofer is designed to connect to our A-Series soundbars and home theater systems HTA7000, HTA5000 and HTA9.
