“I purchased the Sony 7.1.2 sound bar and subwoofer Model HTST5000 on 8/4/2018 My subwoofer rattles and is distorted. Not sure why? I don't blast the sound to its capacity. Would the above subwoofer work with my current sound bar?”

• Switch to your soundbar input and hit "home" on the remote. Navigate to settings and look for the RF Optimization. Turn it off and then back on or if the issue keeps happening try leaving it off. This resets the bluetooth connection between the sub and/or satellite rear speakers and tends to clear up static/dropouts. I actually just leave it off now and have no issues.
