Perfect addition to my Sony BRAVIA THEATER BAR 8

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the new BRAVIA Theater Bar 8, and even some reviews say that the bass response of the Soundbar alone is great, it didn't convince me enough, not for my taste so I needed to add a sub. I have read many reviews of the larger SA-SW5 as the best sub option so I was a little skeptical about the SA-SW3. For my surprise, this little fella (well, not too little) really did blow up my expectations. 200 watts of power is good enough for my new place. Set up was really easy, truly plug and play and the frequency response is awesome in my opinion. I am very happy with the SA-SW3 subwoofer, I highly recommended it for small to medium size rooms.

I mean, everyone has their favorites, but for me, Sony sound systems have always hit high marks. I added one of Sony's HTA3000 soundbars to an upstairs loft area that was smallish in size. For that area, I didn't think I needed tons of sound, but after the setup, I was a bit underwhelmed at the perfomance of the soundbar. That is until I purchased and paired the SA-SW3 Wireless Subwoofer with the existing bar. Wow, what a difference! The highs seemed higher and the lows, well, they were certainly more pronounced. I’m pleasantly surprised at how much this subwoofer has improved the sound of the whole sound system. I highly recommend that you do the same.

It’s really a great setup with powerful sound. I’m in an apartment, so super booming bass isn’t really an option. I thought I would try the SW3 hoping it wouldn’t be too much and actually, it’s really perfect. When the subwoofer is synched with the A5000 it opens up a wider range of bass control with the remote. I also notice the soundbar definitely seems to focus more on the voice and highs when not having to include bass as well. I’m really happy with it and I got a great open box deal. I think the sale price for a new one is worth it too, I just got lucky. I would definitely recommend this subwoofer.

I use this in my living room and have a SW5 in my bedroom. This SW3 definitely doesn't hit as hard as its big brother, but it does a great job of filling the room with big bass that just helps fill the soundstage of whatever you are watching. Wireless is a huge bonus and it's super easy to connect to most Sony soundbards.

Yes, there is better from Sony but it works and this things works VERY WELL. It brings the bass to wherever you put this at. I have it paired with my hta 3000 Sony soundbar and my Sony surround rear speakers all paired to my Bravia 8 tv. Great sub that I recommend if your looking for something that won’t kill your wallet since the soundbar and tv does

Surprising for its size!

I use this with a Bravia 8 soundbar so together it produces plenty of clean sound and deep base for my TV setup in my Livingroom. If I had a dedicated Room for such setup, I would probably want a larger Subwoofer. Quite impressive for it's size and well worth the cost.

The was natural and it didn't wash out vocal most important saperation was on pair. The sony character was on the warm side no brite at all the power was very good not forteging. Is this the best i herd no but for the price maybe there are other sound bars and subwoofer that are good but im happy. Thanks best buy.

Manual instructions were not applicable either. Had to set it up through the Bravia app instead. Works great once you’ve figured that out.
