Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.what can i say i bought this sub with the HTA 7000 soundbar and it is amazing for low frequency of sound great for movies and some music as well...very happy with this purchase buy this sub it has a way better experience than with the sound bar alone together it is a great package.

It took them three times out to my home over a two week timeframe. I also had to return the subwoofer twice because each time I was told my soundbar didn’t go with the subwoofer. Even though it stated on Bestbuys website. It was a third party vendor that let us know an app called Bravia connect need to be downloaded so the soundbar and subwoofer could pair. No one apologized for all the time I spent driving back and forth

My complaint was that matching it with other Sony equipment left me disappointed in the overall surroundsound experience.  If the primary purpose of the set up with music, I would recommend this hands down though.

Capable of very low and accurate bass reproduction. I like action movies, this sub paired with the HTA5000 and 7000 really impressed me.

The sub also gives the system the abilty to adjust bass from 1-12 instead of the three setting of low to high without this sub.

The sub woofer arrived after the TV and sound bar had been delivered and installed. Hearing the sub woofer for the first time made me realize how necessary it was to the system. I highly recommend getting it.
