This thing thumps!!! I also have the Sonos and Bose set up in my home as well and let me say this Sony setup sounds better than both!! And it’s less by a few dollars lol

Build quality is amazing and it’ll shake your house/apartment. I’m coming from a sonos system and got this to pair with my HT-A9. This sub is way better than the Sonos sub.

We really value your feedback regarding the bass sound components of the unit with other input sources. Subwoofers are designed to play low-frequency bass signals, so the sound may be harder to hear. To make sure the subwoofer outputs sound, play an audio source that will make it easy to confirm the bass sound, such as a movie or content with a lot of sound effects. You can also test the subwoofer sound by test tone or built-in demo music. Additionally, make sure to run Sound Field Optimization so that the speaker system can calibrate its performance to your environment, and that it sounds like it was engineered to be in your room. Not the greatest, but decent. I wish the soundbar allowed you to use the subwoofer of your choice because I wouldn't have chosen this particular subwoofer to be honest.
