Good bass for movies

However, we are sorry if you feel that it is a little bit weak when watching movies. If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. You can check the subwoofer sound by emitting the test tone. Calibrating the speaker system using the sound field optimization and experiment with different sound modes to find the one that you like best may also help improved the sound. You may also select the "Cinema Mode " designed to provide a more immersive experience when watching movies.

Perfect subwoofer

The subwoofer offer excellent bass sound with clarity and definition. Auto power off is an added plus as my old one needed manual turn on/off. The price is exorbitant for the level of bass it provides. I have it paired with the ht-a9 and it’s not great. You can definitley tell that there’s additional bass vs. without it but for $700, I would expect to get more from it. I do like that it pairs relatively easily and that it’s wireless. This is a MUST buy if you have a Sony soundbar or ht-a9. It’s unfortunate that you cant add two of these to a system because although they’re over priced, you just need more punch that one alone doesnt provode.
