Great Sound Quality, Terrible Battery Life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is really great. I love how there is an app to adjust the sound based on what your listening too. However, that’s about it positively. The earbuds themselves don’t seem to fit right, the mic is not good when I make calls, and most importantly, the battery life is awful. I can charge the earphones quickly but it lasts pretty much the same amount of time as when I charge them. When I workout or I’m on my lunch break, they always seem to die on me even though I charge them beforehand. I wouldn’t recommend these. I’m exchanging them for Bose earphones.

Love the extra bass
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Sony headphones are great! The noise-cancelling feature and the extra bass response is great! I use them when working out or working in the yard and listening to iTunes. Works well with cancelling out ambient noise when on phone calls too.

I'm very disappointed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works perfect, excellent sound but bad for do exercise, in my opinion, they need something more to keep it in the your ears at the moment to do exercise.

Great Sound, Decent Noise Cancellation
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here's what I liked about the Sony WI-SP600N... 1. Excellent audio quality. Although it is marketed as part of Sony's Extra Bass line up, I never felt the bass was over the top and did not compromise the mids and the highs. Vocals are well represented, and the highs were clean and clear. In fact, the audio was quite well balanced. Sony did a great job squeezing as much out of these 6mm drivers as they could. 2. Comfort. If the ear buds are not comfortable, there is no point in purchasing them no matter how good the audio quality is, since the discomfort would deter you from using them. Well, with the Sony WI-SP600N, I didn't feel any discomfort even after wearing them for hours. Just make sure you try on the various sizes of ear tips and wingtips that Sony includes in the package to find the right fit for your ears. I also like the fact that the earbuds don't fall out during exercise. They stay firmly in place in my ears even with sweat dripping down. 3. Sony Headphones Connect app has good features. The app allows you to view the remaining battery life, adjust the preset equalizers, select between noise cancellation, ambient sound, or turn off noise cancellation. 4. The earbuds have decent noise cancellation, but don't expect them to eliminate all noise. Low frequency machine noise is reduced when the noise cancellation feature is turned on. Keep in mind that all other noise will still be heard, albeit a little bit muffled. In a gym environment where there are a variety of audio frequencies, the noise cancellation is just able to eliminate a fraction of the sound. Since these are sport earbuds, it was also good that Sony included an option to allow ambient noise to be heard in instances where it is important to be aware of your surroundings, such as when you are exercising outdoors and need to be aware of street noise. If you really want to seal out as much noise as possible, I would suggest replacing the eartips with Comply foam tips for some superior passive noise isolation. Here are some things about the earbuds that I disliked: 1. The inline controller is a bit bulky. If you wear the wires behind your neck like most people do, the weight of the controller, which is located on the left side, will cause the entire wire to hang to the left behind your neck. I like having equal amount of wiring to the left and right. An easy fix for this would be a collar clip positioned midway along the connecting wire between left and right earbuds, but Sony neglected to include this probably to shave off a few pennies in the manufacturing costs. 2. The Sony app, although it has a number of preset equalizers, does not allow user customization of the equalizers. As much as I like to use the presets, I would also like to be able to adjust the equalizers to my personal taste. I hope that a future app update will correct this oversight. Recommendation: Dislike #1 above bothered me enough for me to deduct one star from my rating, otherwise it is a five star product. The WI-SP600N wireless earbuds really impressed me with their well balanced sound quality with enough low end bass to keep the rhythm going during my exercise routines. And with pretty decent noise cancellation, I think these earbuds prove their worth.

Just ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate the fact you have to have an app to use it and the charger that came with never worked. But other than that sound is great and canceling noise it’s always a plus.

Not the best
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these for running and I really wasn't impressed. They default to noise cancelling, which isn't safe for running outside, and the fit around my ears wasn't secure even after changing the earbuds. The battery life wasn't great, likely because the noise cancelling uses up power and its a pain to switch modes from the phone app. I could see these being useful for travel or in noisy gyms, but otherwise they're not great.
