Not much for cancelling noise. Ear plugs work better. Bought these as a back up to my Bose QuietControl 30 wireless headphones. No comparison. Bose cancel Sonys dont

Sound was pretty good. The controls were heavy and kept pulling ear bud out of my ear. It stuck to my neck while exercising and in general was not comfortable.

Purchased as a gift but design is very good along with value.

these earbuds sounded okay, but the weight of the control made wearing these unbearable. the one side would keep falling out. not designed well, needs better weight balance. returned for wireless headphones

Sounded great but I couldn’t get the to stay in my ears. They are heavy on the one side, which pulled them out of my ears every time I moved my head.

Got these for my wife for Christmas. She uses them all the time.

I gave these a sweaty workout while cutting the lawn. The Sony in-ear headset did a good job masking the mower noise while still producing pleasing audio of my music. Pairing was simple and quick. Once paired, I was able to connect almost instantly by touching the NFC device ( small battery pack and control pod) to my cellphone. It found it and connected like a champ. Next I set it on 'noise cancelling' mode. You can also set it for conversation mode will being able to hear and understand someone speaking to you. Or, the third mode, which passes sound around you straight through. Good for walking or biking and still being audiably aware of the world around you. No problem with the earpieces staying put. There are enough size options to choose from. Also, the silicon parts are easily purchased and replaced. Overall great, lightweight active headset. Charged in under 90 minutes giving 6-hours play time. I wasn't able to test the microphone for cell phone conversation yet.

5 hr battery life at brand new is way to short. I use this when cycling and because I wear it with chord behind neck (in case it falls out) the right earbud is constantly pulling because the weight of the control box on the left gearbox. When riding a bike , the weight pulls right earbid tight making it difficult to look left as well. Would not recommend this for sports and honestly, if you're using for anything else why would you buy it with 5hr battery life? Wish I could return it.

Just can't quite find that perfect pair of wireless earbuds, but these are doing the job for now. They are not fantastic or anything, just another electronic device.

Simple Review: For what it's amazing to do which is be a lightweight headset with noise cancelation, I would easily recommend this to friends and family. Extended Review: Starting with what you get in the box...pretty plain jane. Unit, charging cable and that's about it. What I wasn't a fan of is that we still have mice USB cable chargers. It should be USB C for the money but small gripe. Performance is where this baby shines. Sound is good out if the box but once you customize it with the app so much better. For me it does lose a star that it didn't sound amazing out of the box. Treble was ear bleeding high but a little tweak in the app goes a long way. Battery life was great getting about 10 hours with noise canceling off but if you turn it on a bit under that 6 hour mark. So it might not do a whole plane ride depending on where your going but you can find ways to make it work for you. It's a good headset, even a great one, for the money I dont think I would tell someone not to get it. I feel it's easily worth the price and I hope my review helps you decide on making that purchase. These head phones did not live up to the Sony name. The bluetooth connection range was short and the quality is also lacking. I returned them shortly after purchasing

Not a horrible buy but the lack of a long battery life is making me regret this purchase. And yes that's with the ambient sound and noise canceling off.

These BT headphones are great...as long as you don't move. For a sport BT the cable wont allow it to stay in your ears. Great for around the house use.

If a person is going to be sitting still in a low noise room these are good head phones.

These earphones remind me a lot of the Sony WI-1000X in sound quality and features which is a very good thing. These definitely have a lot of bass compared to most earbuds though it isn't overpowering. If you don't like all of the bass you can always change the EQ settings in the Sony Headphones app. The ANC is very good as well as the Ambient Sound mode. The only issues I have are with the controls and cord. In my opinion the cord connecting the earphones is much too short which can be fine if you have them in your ears, but if you have them sitting around your neck while you aren't using them they can fall off very easily. The remote gives you lots of different controls but it is very small at less than 2 inches. You get all the controls you would need but the remote can weigh down the headphones and it can be hard to tell what you're pressing because you can't see any of the buttons. I realize that those are small gripes but they just frustrate me a little bit in day-to-day use.
