One of the challenges of wireless headphones is to determine where to put the control module. It adds weight and bulk that for the most part, is unecessary. Many of the controls on this module can be handled by almost all phones and music devices. How many users acutally answer the phone via these devices? However, manufacturers feel they need to add all these functions which tend to get in the way. Is the case of the Sony SP600N, the control module is larger than on many other headphones and adds bulk to the headphone making it harder to keep stable and keep the earbuds in the ear. I tend to run mostly at a highger pace (7:00 - 8:00 per mile) so that doesnt help in keeping the earbuds stable so if you tend to do lighter activities, this may not be as much of an issue for you. As far as sound, these headphones do a nice job covering all range of sound. Ultimitely, if you are doing light activity or workouts, these headphones would suffice and I would recommend them.

I really wanted to like these earbuds, but they don't have the bass I like. I played with the 3 settings, noise canceling, ambient sound and nothing. All three setting sound tinny, but I was good with it until I looked at the box again. In nice big font it says Extra Bass...what! Maybe I need to look at the manual again, but I didn't really hear much bass, let alone extra. That said, the headphones do sound good, as good as any of my other earbuds. They fit better than most of the ones I use including a set of wireless Bose. I gave the 4 stars base on fit and function. They work, plain and simple. I'm sure when I listen to audiobooks at the gym, these are going to work great. They just don't do it for me with music. I tried Amazon music as well as my own files and neither lived up to the noise canceling JBL over the ear phones I use. I'd recommend these for users that listen to voice recordings more than music or to music lovers who prefer more treble than bass.

Just disappointed in this model... I’ve owned at least 20 different sony headphones and there always great, but these suck!!! There not loud... the noise reduction feature doesn’t work. I was trying to talk to someone and they couldn’t hear anything I was saying .... I’m returning them and getting something better..... don’t waste your money......

I bought these earphones for the purpose of working out. But they're great for everday normal use as well! They connect well, range is nice! I can leave my phone in my room on the 2nd floor of my house, and still be at the dinner table talking using these earphones. Definitely sweat resistance. Good amount of battery! They only thing I wish could've been better and more volume. I tend to have to raise the volume a little higher just to hear nicely. However, that could just be me. It's great overall. As for the noise cancelling, it's real!

Work great, sound pretty good as well. Battery life is decent, and charging is fairly quick. I do like how they stay in my ears as well - I have problems with a more expensive set of headphones staying in. Highly recommended!

I was impressed with the sound quality from these earbuds. I wasn't sure if the Extra Bass advertisement would be true or a gimmick. I was able to hear the bass clearly, as well as the mids and highs. Despite the controls hanging down near the left earbud, they were still comfortable. The controls take some getting used to. There were times when I got confused between the play/pause and volume buttons. After using them enough, I was able to remember their location. The noise canceling feature is decent. I'm still able to hear noise in the background. Overall it's a good pair of earbuds.

I even went to my Best Buy store where a friendly clerk helped my try different soft tips to see if that would allow the ear buds to stay in place. The ear buds kept falling out no matter which tips we tried. Finally I traded them in for some Apple ear buds.

Got these for my wife. There was static and she cut out everytime she made a phone call. We returned them thinking it was just a bad pair. We got another set and had the same problems. Returned them and ended up getting the JBL Everest and have had no problems.

Let me start by saying you cannot have enough headphones for different things. These headphones excel in my day to day travels as a tech guy, out and about, but also when I'm working from my desk. Why? They are connected with a wire, and can hang around my neck when I'm not using them. But they are always with me and not having to put them in my pocket or whatever. As for sound, they are amazing. Using as a phone headset, they are better than some, not as good as others. They are tinny sounding and the weird part is hearing yourself talk while you are speaking. I didn't like this effect and often returned to using my phone or phone's speaker to speak on calls. The sound is incredible, and the noise cancelling part is very amazing. There is an app that lets you adjust them according to your preferences. I like this because sometimes I'd prefer to adjust for more bass, or more treble depending upon the genre I'm listening to. They last all day on a single charge, and they are on the whole time. I don't turn them off until I get done for the day. Charging is done via the standard micro-usb connection & a charger. A cable is included for charging, but not the charger, pretty much standard these days. These go all the way into the ear canal, and as such you'll filter out the noise around you - if using these while out and about, realize you might not hear a car horn or siren until last minute, so use with caution. Mostly these are my "go to" headphones/earphones because they last all day, they can be hung around my neck, and have decent sound quality. Every speaker and headphone set that are from Sony these days is simply amazing. I can tell that Sony has re-visited what they are providing in the audio world, this is no exception. You'll find that there are a million choices out there today with headphones. Having tried quite a few of these, I'll tell you that Sony headphones are a solid choice. Best Buy has a great return policy and if these don't work for you, you can return them and try something else. If you have really thought it through, you might find this style works for you, maybe for parts of your day. As I said earlier, you can never have enough headphones for different purposes.

I've had these just a year, with infrequent use. Now after charging they won't even turn on. Battery life has been terrible, and noise cancellation is very poor. Not at all what you should expect from Sony.

The Sony Sport earbuds are amazing. I thought I would just use them for working out, but they have been great for work calls as well. They do a great job with noise-cancelling, allowing them to be used for important calls in just about any environment. The only down side to them is the battery life. I really need my headphones/earbuds to last eight hours, so if you need full usage during a full work day, these probably aren't for you. If, on the other-hand, you are looking for great call quality, great music, and amazing bass for the size, these are the earbuds for you.
