Setup was very easy. Just download the app and pair with Bluetooth. I liked that they were attached by a cord and that the controls are easily accessible. You have a pause/play/talk button, volume control, on/off button and a button for changing from ambient sound to noise canceling. The noise canceling mode on these works really well. I like the ambient mode so that if someone is talking to me I can easily hear them and don't have to take the headphones off and can speak without sounding like I am yelling. It is very easy to answer a call coming in by simply hitting the talk/pause/play button. To end the call, simply hit the button again and your music will come back on. These work really well while working out. My daughter did a strenuous workout and they stayed in place for the entire half hour. Sony hit the ball out of the park once again.

While these are not the most comfortable headphones, they are surprisingly good headphones. The noise cancellation to be fairly good. The bluetooth and microphone are both of very good use, I preferred using the NFC option as it works better. As with nearly everything now, they are app based for optimal use

I must say the headset fit perfectly and stayed in place in my ears. The volume wasn't that high. I'm using it on a Galaxy Note 8. Also doing phone calls I got a lot of background noise making it almost impossible for the caller on the phone to hear me. Music was okay as I said it wasn't loud and Bassed up. But the sound quality was okay. I really wish they would have Incorporated noise cancelling along with the ambient sound function. To summarize not the best headset that I've ever used but it's okay if you're not a person that likes the music loud and if you're not making phone calls during your workout.

    Affordable Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones

The Sony SP600N is a good choice if you're looking for affordable wireless noise canceling headphones. They are a small set of in-ear headphones connected together by a small cable with a volume controls and USB charging in the center. You might be wondering why these are wireless when I just mentioned the wire connecting the in-ear headphones. The connectivity to the music source is wireless and uses an app for iOS and Android from Sony. As soon as I connected the headphones to my iPhone I was prompted to go to the app store and download the app. I used the headphones while running on a treadmill and while it definitely helped cancel out the background noise I'd say the audio quality was good but not exceptional. Then again, these headphones are priced quite affordably and so it really wouldn't be fair to judge them against more expensive headphones. If you're looking for an affordable set of wireless headphones for sports then these are worth checking out.

These earbuds lasted 2 years in great condition until the day I noticed that the rubber housing the battery and the controls began to be sticky and dirt was getting on my fingers. The poor quality of the plastic was a bit let down. The sound is customizable and has that punchy bass, and Sony characteristic sound. Good fit and a little inconvenient cable around the neck. Overall a good set of earphones.

First, let me say I am giving this a 4 star review based solely on the sound quality and comfort. I believe those to be the two biggest factors in any headphone/headset purchase. Second, let me give a major gripe I have with Sony headphones and headsets. Why no carrying case? Every headset or headphone I have purchased within recent memory have come with a case or a bag except for most Sony headsets. The exception, when the case also charges them. Anyhow, if you like the sound Sony is known for, you will be happy with these headphones. The Headphone Connect app includes a equalizer and enough controls to get the sound just where you want it. ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) is done pretty well. I would estimate 80-90% of background noise is eliminated. But this comes at a cost, battery life is probably cut in half. There are 3 modes, OFF, ANC and a pass thru mode that will play ambient sounds through the headphones. Battery life is quite good with ANC turned off. I have not completely drained them yet, but I would estimate a good 10-12 hours with ANC off. WIth ANC on, you can probably get about 5 or 6 hours. Your milage may vary. On Android, the mic works pretty well drowning out background noise. On an iPhone, there must be something odd happening with the firmware. The mic was picking up all kinds of background noise and amplifying it. I had to go on mute and disconnect from BT. Initially I thought ANC was part of the issue, but nothing I did rectified the background noise being amplified. Overall these headphones are really comfortable, the cord connecting the earpieces is weighed about perfect to give durability and comfort. You don't notice the cord wrapped around the back of your neck. An odd choice by Sony, the controls are on the left hand side. Most other headsets I have used have the controls on the right. It takes a little getting use to, and I still am fumbling with the controls. Charging time is quite fast, between 2 and 3 hours to get a full charge. The industry standard charger seems to be micro-usb for most headsets. I am looking forward to the first USB-C charging headphones I come across. It will be nice to get rid of my old cables. Wireless range might be the best I have come across. I can go a good 30-40 feet away before they start losing connection. IP rating is currently said to be IPX4 for splash and sweat resistance. For "sport" headphones I would expect a higher rating. In conclusion. If you are a Sony fan and like their sound, then you will be quite pleased with these headphones. They are comfortable and very durable. The drawbacks are not enough to rate them poorly. I would recommend them to most anyone.

    Decent Earbuds

Sony SP600N Wireless Noise Cancelling earbuds are decent earbuds, but have a few issues. They would be great to use while at the gym, lifting weights or walking on a treadmill. The issues occurred when they were used for running. First of all, the control box attached to the wire is very heavy. When running, the weight of it often tugged at the ear bud and was uncomfortable. It caused the wire to be uneven and shift. Also, while running the noise cancelling feature was okay, but since the ear buds had to be pushed deep into the ear to prevent slipping out, it caused an echo of the footsteps in the ear. Overall, an ok set of earbuds for working out just I would avoid using them for long distance running.

The Sony - WF-SP600N Sport headphones are perfect for me. I love how they feel in the ear while running/exercising and they sound amazing. Setup is quick. The noise cancelling is really nice. It allows me to hear the music clearly when I'm in areas with a lot of noise. Battery life is impressive as well. I can use them for several hours while working out/running errands. They charge pretty quick too. The speak works great for phone calls. I would recommend to everyone looking for a great pair of headphones.

These headphones fit really well and the controls are easy to access. It is convenient that the noise cancelling can be turned on or off from the control box on the cord that connects the two ear pieces. The control box adds a little weight, but doesn’t get in the way as long as you you get the right size ear piece. The sound is great and you can connect to Sony’s headphone Connect application to customize. I’ve been jogging with them several times and they are a great companion to my Apple Watch.

Fantastic wireless headphones. Fits well in my ear however after long usage ( 2 hours) my ear became tired and hurt. Audio quality its great with average noise canceling . The controller modular makes the headphone unbalanced. Pulls down on your left side when running or doing something active. This problem is will all wireless headphones that connect to each other. Not a deal breaker for me but something Sony can improve on. Sony PLEASE balance out the wireless headphones or use a clip to secure it on user shirt. Overall would recommend these to anyone looking for wireless headphones.

Love these wireless earbuds from Sony. They have excellent sound quality and battery life is terrific. I have owned several pair of wireless earbuds and the battery life on these well exceeds them all. The sound quality is consistent with other Sony products and fits my needs. I haven't found a problem with the earbuds dislodging due to the controls on the left side but I am not a runner. I do brisk walks and treadmill with these and haven't had any problem. I highly recommend them.
