Great in-Ear headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've purchased a few wireless earbuds online through Amazon and BestBuy, but all had the same issue at Planet Fitness when I worked out. They wouldn't keep a good connection, despite online reviews. TaoTronics, Jlabs, etc... These FINALLY worked. Not one disconnect/interruption during my 45 minute workout. Sound is good, a bit Bass heavy, which doesn't bother me. I use RHA's T20's where I work so I know what great earbuds sound like. These will definitely do the job. Highly recommend them.

Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So many people are giving these a low rating. Not quite sure why, but coming from an audio man who is obsessed with audio and builds his own speakers, these actually sound pretty dam good for the quality to price ratio. They are definitely not the best sounding earbuds on the market, but definitely a nice affordable set of noise canceling earbuds that offer a great sound that you can wear for a long period, and they won’t fall off. Now personally I don’t use earbuds, but I did buy these for someone a while back ago who loves earbuds, with all do, I tried these out myself, and even not being an earbud guy, I liked it almost to the point where I wanted to keep it for myself. Personally I think Sony is class leading with there headphones and earbuds. I think they overall sound Neutral and balanced compared to other class leading brands. Especially the more expensive Sony buds and headphones, I think they are the best. I love Sony headphones, but the person did not like headphones so I bought the earbuds. And I gotta be honest, they sound pretty dam good for what they are and offer a pretty substantial amount of features for what you get. And like said, I’m not even an earbud guy, and I like these. But overall it’s a preference of taste and mind set. They are pretty good for what they where at the time, they have held up pretty well over time and they are still going strong, so ima give these a solid five star because it deserves it. Over all a great affordable nice sounding set of earbuds that offer a pretty reasonable amount of good sound and features for the price that you get it for.

Average
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really looking forward to the sound quality of these since they advertise as having Extra bass. Sorry, but I find them very average. The noise canceling feature really did nothing for me, I just did not notice any sound improvement. If you like to hear things around you i guess the ambient setting kind of help you hear slightly better. Control are laid out nicely and easy to use. I had trouble getting a real good fit no matter the earbuds I tried. Overall these are pretty average to me, Not my go to pair by any means.

Great earbuds for activites
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great headphones for activities and listening to music. If you are using them for occasional use, then they aren't the best. They will slide off your neck if you don't have them in your ear. Also during calls, the person I was speaking to couldn't hear me well. I tried to make adjustments of where it's placed on my neck, but they still were unable to hear me. I think for music during activities these are great, but for calls and daily occasionaly use, I'll stick with my "daily driver."

Great Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds have great noise canceling. The sound quality is great and the inclusion of NFC is very useful. The connection is always consistent as well.

Excellent Versatility
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am so pleased and thankful for Sony putting out this model. I wanted noise cancelling head phones with the sweat resistance feature and was a cord instead of the actual necklace. When searching for head phones you could get 2 out of my 3 wants. Sony you are amazing! I love that I have all three features I was searching for with great sound quality and versatility. LOVE THEM!!!

Meh... Okay...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds great, play with the sony-app and get even great sounds. Poor battery time, I charge it full in the morning and evening while returning from work, it will not power on. Doesn't say how much battery left when powering ON. I hear disturbance while taking call, others (the recipient) don't hear any noise and can't find I'm in a headset until I say. Product says 6hrs in one full charge, when reading properly, it says 6hrs with noise cancel off...

Liked the bass but terrible for calls
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a sony over the ear pair of noise cancelling headphones so i figured these would be good too. The bass was good, the noise cancelling feature was so so. However the ambient noise feature is atrocious. It gives the sound of a hot mic you can hear too much playback from sounds. I tested making calls to two different people and absolutely useless. Way too much noise on my end and then my callers couldnt hear me and i had trouble hearing them. For 150$ or even the 100$ sale price is off the mark. I am returning them same day i bought them. I have the sony headphone app and that helped with music but nothing helped with the call quality. Only good for music alone. For calls I had to resort to using an old pair of samsung earbuds with mic and they were superior for phone calls!!!(the samsung ear buds that came with my s6 years ago)I'm really disappointed sony!

Sony, What?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony is known for their amazing sound, great design and overall market dominance in so many areas (TV, sound systems, headphones, etc.), but with this, I'm really questioning why things are the way they are. Sound: These headphones sound fine. I mean, I enjoy a lot of bass and the EQ settings in the app make that great. Everything is clear and with the sound isolation from the earbuds and "noise cancelling", if you could even call it that, they're great for a lot. Design: What in the heck is this design? The earbuds are MASSIVE and look really bulky. I really like the material, but they are extremely heavy and just hard to get around. They also didn't include a carrying case or smaller fins (in my packaging they didn't even include the large ones). This is a major misstep for Sony at this price point where earbuds that are less expensive have these options. The controller is HUGE. Everything about this design seems like it was made way too big. It's positioned over your left shoulder so it's always bogging that side down, leading to some sealing issues with the left ear bud and constant falling over. It is way too big for what it needs to do, and honestly, Sony needs to implement USB-C. Comfort/Fit: These HURT. None of the included eartips fit my ear and the fins hurt really bad after a while. I wish they followed JayBird's example and included some foam ear tips or at least some better wings. If they don't have the wings, they're falling out and if they do, they're just plain uncomfortable. For $150, These are way too poorly designed for me to enjoy wearing them. The charging cable is poor quality, the sound cuts out sometimes when the phone is switching between apps, and the final point: Sound Cancellation/Ambient Noise: Okay, the Ambient Noise feature is great. I can hear myself talking and it doesn't sound like I'm underwater when I'm on the phone. Phone calls have been fine so far and the other party can hear me just fine. However, when we switch to noise cancellation, it honestly sounds exactly the same as when you have just the earbuds in your ear -- there's no noticeable difference like when you're wearing other active noise cancelling headphones. Overall: So many design flaws for an otherwise decent product make this a 1/5 for me. I can't stand companies with massive design teams and budgets making these kinds of mistakes. Connectivity issues, uncomfortable fit, and awkward and bulky design on SPORT headphones should not be a thing. I'd say ditch the NFC (unnecessary) and keep everything else with a slimmer profile and you might have yourself a better product.

Excellent Noise Cancelling Earbud
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Flew from LAX to Portland with a $29 headphone bought online. Thought I could watch a movie or two with it in-flight, but all I heard was the plane engine. With upcoming flight back to LA, I headed to the nearest BestBuy in Portland for a noise cancelling earbud (because I needed the earbud to be also usable for running). I initially mistrusted the Sony because of the price compared to the Beats or Bose. I thought there must something wrong with this product. But, I gave it a try and I have to say, it is very good. It cancels background noise efficiently: the sound of the movie I was watching back to LAX (same movie I saw flying to Portland for comparison) sounded very clear and no engine sound interfering. It also provides runners the ability to minimize or turn off noise cancelling to ensure external sounds can be heard. I have only had these earbuds for a month, but I have to say: highly recommended.

Poor Call Quality, Ear Buds Uncomfortably Large
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality for music and videos is exceptional, as to be expected from Sony headphones. The call quality is extremely poor, with a lot of static and often times being told by people listening to me that I sounded like I was talking through a tin can. That wasn't even my largest issue with the headphones however since I would primarily be using them for video/music. No, the biggest issue I had was how UNCOMFORTABLE they are. Even the smallest provided ear buds were far too large for my ears, barely even fitting enough to stay secure and extremely painful to wear for more than a few moments. I know I normally have issues with sizing on ear buds and always have to go with the smallest but these were nowhere near the right fit, which is just absurd. I don't have abnormally small ears or anything. All in all, they were completely unusable for me so I returned them after two days.

Average..
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Your average set of headphones with a twist. I wasn’t too impressed with these headphones the sound and style is very basic. I didn’t like that I have to download an app to control the sound quality of the headphones. The earbuds for me where to big. It can be a spare set of headphones, not a daily use

Fall out easily. can't insert deeply
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these for cycling and they fall out frequently. The small amount pressure needed to use the volume control always dislodges the left side. The control drags the right-side wire down my left shoulder so the wire to right ear becomes tight and earpiece is pulled out when I turn my head to the left. I see people rave about the sound quality, but i can't insert these snugly enough to hear good base, although I have tried the smaller rubber adapter and pushed the earpiece (hard) into the ear canal. The sound is always somewhat "thin" and distant. I have no other experience with this style of headphone. As far as I know, this is a relatively good headphone, however, I would not purchase this product again, and can't recommend it.

Good music bad calls
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got excellent quality when listening to music, but when it came to calls, I got reports of sounding muffled or underwater. Also they wouldn't stay in my ears even after trying the adjustable ear pieces. Not satisfied.

Excellent Sound for Ear Buds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have given 4 or 5 stars except for the following; 1. Comes with 4 sizes of ear buds but just cannot find the perfect fit. 2. After downloading app and upgrading firmware, the sound was terrible and the volume and noise cancelling became inferior. If you get these, I would avoid the app.

Not the best!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I feel as though the earbuds were oddly uncomfortable. The left side felt too heavy as though it was going to fall out while I was running. I would say the sound quality is good but definitely not the best.
