I bought the 2 year geek whatever protection and I know that because I bought it, I’ll never, ever have to use it. I learned the hard way - from Samsung - that factory warranties are very hard to make a claim through. They basically told me to go youknowhat myself, nicely, but there it was. I showed them. I bought a Sony this time.

Great dvd entertainment system!

After connecting it to her tv, she started watching her favorite dvds, and hasn't stopped smiling since. She's happy with her entertainment setup, and I'm happy that she's happy!

Smart(ish) Blueray

Very sleek, crystal clear resolution, etc. However, we were not as excited about the smart features. It has Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and a couple other apps included, but that was all. Those apps all work well, but the device is not capable of downloading additional apps, so you’re stuck with whatever comes preloaded on the device. For the cost, that was not what we had hoped.
